this Accord 1.5TC-P will be the best D segment sedan u can buy between the Camry 2.5V and Mazda6 2.5 too... this Accord 1.5TC-P has alot of stuff such as 360 camera, Honda LaneWatch, Honda Sensing safety features, Appld Carplay and Android Auto as standard, Auto Parking, rear electric control front seat for passenger side, remote engine start and walk away auto lock... impressive spacious interior room too plus practicality... thats why, its a winner

I just bought a Accord and i love it! And it rides nice and smooth and got plenty of power for a 1.5 Turbo engine!

Good choice Wapcar. For those who wonder why Accord over Camry: 1. Price 2. Performance (horsepower) 3. Space 4. Fuel efficiency 5. Lower road tax (1.5 vs 2.5) 6. More features including safety features 7. Handling Camry is superior in certain areas such as comfort, nvh, (maybe) reliability but overall, there is no contest here similar to Civic vs Altis. Honda produces better overall C and D segment cars.

Produces good selling products doesn't mean they are objectively better, i was wondering how much paycheck wapcar received for this video, they recommend their cars straight without taking into account the horrendous build quality which squeks and rattles in just a few days of usage, wouldnt trust any car brands if they build their cars with the minimal standards of QC

Can't agree more with you, I love Camry so much but still Accord win this time.

Bought and received just before the government announced to extend the sales tax exemption... 166 (TC)on the road. Very worthit! Was contemplating against Elantra 2021. In the end took D segment instead.

after tested the Camry 2.5V, the Passat 2.0 TSi R-Line, the Sonata 2.5 Premium, Mazda6 2.5L SkyActivG and the Accord 1.5TC-P, we’d pick up the Accord 1.5TC-P as it is the best value among all stated D segment sedan... it has almost well complete car... the best ADAS system up to date, 360 degree camera, auto parking, 18 inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Primacy 3 ST tyres, ample spacious interior, easy to use 8 inch touch screen headunit with apple carplay and android auto mated to 10 speakers sound system, Honda Lanewatch camera, a very large boot storage, practicality and etc...

I really like it except for the rear lights. If I really decide to buy it, I'm gonna do something with the lights. Make it look less like a stapler.

The torque of the passat R line is the best in its class and it really does stand out. At first by looking at it, i was not convinced but after test driving it i was sold.

Nice video editing Adrian but the Accord, in my personal opinion, is an old man's car (Middle class Apek car). For that price, the BMW 2 series, while lacking several features and a much smaller car, seems like a better buy. The all black interior seems dull and I'm not a fan of the rear back design. Just my 2 cents.

The 2 series is way too small, probably the 3 series might be a good competitor. Only issue is it cost alot more than the accord in Singapore. SGD165k vs SGD 207k

@@ervintay5742 In Malaysia, they're almost exactly the same price. Yeah I agree it's a bit small, but much cooler and eye catching! I got to test drive it last month and it's a great car. Decided to get the X3 instead at the end.

@@AlphaMaleMy No man, the 2 series is slightly less than RM190k after discounts. I almost bought it, go ask a sales agent yourself. The Accord starts at RM185.9k without insurance. I was test driving cars like crazy last month. I finally bought the BMW X3.

When I 1st look at honda new design, city or Accord, I felt the previous design is much more better, more aggressive and fierce. But after some time, I begining to change my view. The new design actually looks cleaner, it's more premium. In other word, if you looking for a sportier car, that you want to modify it to be like a racing car, honda may no longer be your 1st choice brand anymore.

Price almost 200k and getting rear bulb indicator is unacceptable for me. Other things considered, its a good allrounder la

@@abdulhananzaroo8704 Yes. Paid advert content is not a problem at all. We have nothing against channel making money. BUT the channel MUST announce that it is a paid advert. Because it is disclosed and upfront that it is a paid advert does not take away from the content. The issue is not disclosing the fact it is commercial video and hiding the fact. A little while ago Y. Kong did a Corolla video and also hid the fact it is a Toyota paid content and didn't disclose the fact. I also lost tremendous respect for him. When this sh*t happens that put all the rest of the video into doubt. If it is paid for, say so. We have nothing against that. But when you hide that fact, f**k you.

I also notice their articles are very Pro Honda. So obvious. So disappointed frankly. I was fed up with most national automotive portals like Paul tan (haha that one sponsored like hell la by manufacturers) when Wapcar came, many were excited to get a more balanced review. But now turns out that Wapcar is gradually becoming like Paul tan. Perhaps for business development, they need sponsors

Camry lost to this? This car still rattles after parked under the sun like its cheaper Honda siblings.. I dunno if the plastics are the problem or poor fittings by the factory

Most people this day rather go for c segment suv then a d segment sedan. Plus maybe because of the look because i see a lot of people aren't really a fans of it design including me. Not that it look bad or ugly but it just look like a bigger civic. Maybe that's why people don't consider it because civic look pretty same, have same engine (just different power), same honda sensing, with a pretty good space with a lot cheaper price.

The design fail big time, especially the rear light cluster. It cost too much for a D segment car that comes with a CVT gearbox.

I m a big honda fan, a pro honda guy n proud owner of honda car...but i must truly say that this video rating is extremely bias simply because honda has failed big time with this new gen accord~ it is no where near its younger sibling of civic n city in terms of design appearance inside n out, the tweaked engine, the exterior is hideous with awkward proportion..not to mention the latest camry has already step up above this current accord effortlessly...shame on u honda, u failed us miserably this time as a honda fan~ and please wapcar, don't take us motorhead enthusiasts a fool to believe that the new toyota tnga cannot beat this car?

@@WapCar it's flagship D segment sedan we are talking about, therefore the most important aspect of the parameters should be the stability, pliancy, plushness and all round features that makes this car reliable and viable to own and maintain...everyone knows that the 1.5T with CVT cannot run full time high speed cruising on a long journey..just the pull on the acceleration alone after mid turbo lag is not fit to be used, 2.0T should be standard at this price point of CKD unit here its a no brainer..a flagship must be fit to be worshipped, and with current king of suv the mighty CRV is still around its a shame to idol this car as honda flagship model tbh~ again, volume speaks facts so u better redo ur research next time with figures on why this latest model is not popular in Malaysia compared to other D segments..
