It’s because the members themselves said. He is the king of stage. He knows how to control and manipulate the stage and it’s presence to the direction he wants it to be. Hyunsuk is chosen as the centre for that reason. There’s not a single moment where this man doesn’t know what he is doing, he is in control of everything.

Tbh, hyunsuk became center in MMM dance break is the best decision i've ever seen:') he's really good in this part.

I love watching Treasure fancams and he always pulls such interesting expressions, not ones you usually see idols make, more like actors you see in theaters. Cause you can't see the actors that well from afar, they usually make their expressions more exaggerated but still in tune with the scene. That's what he reminds me of. He's performing a play on stage, not only singing and dancing.

honest opinion the last time I ever encounter a main rapper from an idol group that can burn the stage not just by their rapline but by charisma & dance move was CL, Hyuna & Hwasa (they are all women) but god CHOI HYUNSUK is giving me that level of impression.
