This video documents the original installation configuration of the 2020 Ford Transit Cargo van battery. I recorded this video while investigating my options for adding a 2nd battery (i.e. a "house" battery) to supply power for auxiliary equipment. My goal was to install a battery that could be charged by the engine's alternator, but not draw current from the battery used to start the engine. In a separate set of videos, I documented the final solution I used to provide a house battery under the passenger seat.

My 2020 Transit Cargo came with a single AGM Battery. It has both CCP1 & CCP2 connections active.

Only my customer connection point with a 60 amp service was connected to the stud on the outside of the seat pedestal. The other one was incomplete. It had a conventional lead-acid battery. I have no idea how they decide what type of battery to put in unless it's part of the ordering process by the customer. There is room for a second battery in the box, but the spacers must be removed in order to do so.
Would have been nice to see how to get to the battery

Try watching one of the other videos I posted that is listed at the very end, just click on the link that appears on the screen. You have to remove the seat which has four bolts and then you have access to everything shown in the other video.
