It is loud. It’s a dual tone horn. Some trim level have single tone horns on Fords so that is possible. And they can break so only one tone works.

Will the alarm trigger if someone tries to open a locked door from the outside eg., people checking for unlocked cars.

No that doesn’t trigger the alarm. I went and tried again just to make sure.

I had the window open and grabbed through it. Just thieves have tools to reach in and open the door from the inside.
