    @@jackseddie I've personally been 37mph on it, and that wasn't quite top speed (but close, I think), so IMO the 40mph claimed top speed it a legitimate claim. And I will say that although that's faster than I'm comfortable riding, the scooter was extremely stable - not scary of sketchy at all.

    Brent, Nanrobot did a good job breaking their moulds on this one. I have heard this is a good one for trails. That kickstand looks crazy long and a little odd. Have you ever experienced that handlebar locking mechanism loosening after trail riding? Great point on the turn signals, I feel the same way about the ones on the Emove Cruiser. I'm not sure about the whole awards business but thanks for showing the scooter on some nice trails.

  • @electrifiedreviews

    @electrifiedreviews

    3 жыл бұрын

    what's up, Electron Surfer! that's a great point and i think you're totally right. this one feels like a bit of a departure from the norm in a good way. kickstand is pretty good. longer ones are more stable, but get in the way more. for something this heavy i think it's worth it. i was very worried about the handlebar locking mechanism before testing, especially at speeds of 40 mph, but it has not loosened at all over the course of 250 miles. in fact, it seemed to have self-tightened, which i think is great. it is very difficult to unscrew though because it's perfectly round. haven't tested the Emove Cruiser yet but i believe we have that one scheduled for sometime in the next couple of months. anyway, hope you're well, buddy and appreciate the comment!

    I'm 6'1" and about 210lbs. The handlebars are high enough that my arms are bent while gripping them. In fact, the handlebars could be about 3" lower and I'd still be able to grip them while standing straight. It will certainly hold 240lbs of weight - I jump min off curbs regularly. The only thing I've noticed is that the springs in the suspension appear to have worn in a bit, and I had to tighten it up a bit. No big deal, and I've only had to do that once.

    Just a word of advice if you own this scooter, make sure the plastic twist dial screw and u-bolt for fastening the handlebar stem is completely screwed in tight and test before riding. This morning I didn't make sure it was on completely tight(I thought that I had it secured)and the handlebars came down as I started to take off. My knee scraped the concrete a bit and of course the scooter fell over, but it wasn't damaged fortunately. I think the big plastic screw knob thing is one of the biggest cons to this scooter. They really should've went with a clamping type design instead imo.

    Hello, I don't have the d6+, but a similar scooter. Mine also has that eco mode button as many other brands of scooters, and yes it is normal. I have a slightly weaker scooter, and I cant get it past 11mph with eco mode turned on, in any gear. And with the springs, it should have a ring over the spring that you can tighten, to make it stiffer. In the lack of right words, the ring looks like a cog. I have not done this myself, since mine is fine, but from what I have heard, is really tight and hard to turn. If that does not so the trick. Replacing the springs is an option, easy to find new ones.

Apparently they are out of stock in the U.S. Which tells me that they have an issue with it so much they "sell" out of them. $$$ For a 2019 model scooter and it being one of the latest designs they shouldn't be selling out a component that should last the lifetime of the D6+.

    I pre-order the D6+ June 30th with a shipment date of July 25th. This was then moved to a later date of July 28th to August 4th. Today is August 4th and still nothing. Not even a email update from them. This is unfair and unprofessional. Just an heads up to those who live in nyc. For those who were fortunate to get one, have fun and be safe.

    Same shit happened to me I ordered June 25th , but the site wasn’t updated so I gotta email saying I’m on a list for the end of July. I was fine with that I emailed to confirm this. I gotta reply saying if I update my brakes to hydraulic I can get a mid July shipment. I said okay mid July arrives no scooter end of July I was given a tracking number from the chick running the emails and whatsapp. The tracking number never updated I cancelled the next day and ordered the dualtron thunder

    @@electrifiedreviews They blamed COVID 1st... I wanted the nanrobot cause of the huge ass deck, I love how high it sits. So I said I can work with you guys, I'll wait 30 days. Then you tell me it'll come sooner if I give you 100 dollars so i do. then you tell me the scooters are mixed up so You don't know the hydraulic brakes from the disk brakes so you'll refund me. Then you give me a bogus tracking number manually when I paid originally and my account updated from unpaid to paid. But for some reason when my scooter posed to ship my account doesn't update from unfulfilled to fulfilled gtfoh and refund me my chips please lmao

    The speed drops quite quick. And I can't even believe the company release a video of their claimed speed of 28 mph by showing a video of the scooter doing its speed while its running off the ground WITHOUT any fractions, weight, inclined on it. That tells you alot about the company's claim and products. And they didn't help me much with the problems i have on their scooter. Get the Ninebot Max. It's way better.
