i think power steering would change the whole feel to the ryker ride, i have a spyder also and i'm not crazy with the steering. #vincode17

I purchased a 2020 Ryker 900; with accessories; a 10x12 lofted barn shed; and insurance paid in full for under the price of a 2020/2021 Spyder f3

The Ryker does have ABS brakes. I own a 900 and it most def. has them.

So I saw the Ryker won both races but he keep saying the Spyder would have won if… 😂

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to compare here. Both machines come from the same manufacturer and both have 3 wheels but that's about all they have in common. The Ryker comes in 600 and 900 displacement where as all Spyders now are 1330 triple - engine size of course will affect any test or comparison. The Rykers as I understand all use a CVT where as, again as I understand, all Spyders now come with a dual clutch paddle shifter which automatically downshifts when you close the throttle but needs to be manually up-shifted. Weight of the vehicle would be a factor as well a 1330 engine is going to make for a much heavier machine than the 900. I'm not aware as to all the electronic safety features of the Ryker but the Spyders have a full suite of acronyms of ABS, Traction Control and so on. Finally I hate to sound like the safety police, but riding either machine one handed whilst holding a camera and not wearing gloves, or boots and in shorts is a personal choice but a recipe for an accident and since you're hoping others including new and inexperienced riders will watch your videos poor behaviour to model. I accept that everyone who rides is responsible for their own safety gear and laws vary from state to state and nation to nation but those of us in the 'riding community' who make and share videos or us riding and testing bikes have a role to play in teaching and demonstrating safe and proper riding behaviour.

Yes it does have abs breaks the 900 and it has brembo break pads

ABS dosent necessarily apply only to brembo brakes ABS stands for anti lock brakes it's a system which electronically controls the brakes to prevent you from “locking” up your brakes, or applying so much pressure to your brakes that the axle and your wheels themselves stop turning completely. Upgraded brembo brakes isn't a necessity in order to have ABS. And yes all Ryker models came standard with ABS.

Power to weight on the Ryker is .125 on the spider f3 it’s .116. For about 6k less and a little more nimble and sporty I’d rather the Ryker. I’ve been riding 2 wheel bike for a long time. If the day ever came where I needed a 3 wheeler then the Ryker would be the closest thing. The spyder just seems more like a 3 wheel atv or small car to me

Hello! Trying to race a SPYDER against any other vehicle requires the use of two hands. Holding a camera in one hand and a single handlebar side of a SPYDER with the other hand and trying to drive, and especially racing, is a recipe for disaster. You apparently did not turn the throttle all the way up on that SPYDER when that so-called race took place. The CAN AM SPYDER F3S and the regular F3's are absolute beasts. The race you conducted was rather short.

On the spyders you have to upshift though. Rykers are fully automatic, so it gets up quite fast. The spyders are improved in all other aspects, but in comparison not the get and go type of machine. It's like a Nissan Suv... Takes a little time, but it will get there.

If You've owned 'One for a while and then gave an objective review, I can try to understand what You seem to be getting at. Keep in Mind that You are trying to compare a RYKER to a SPYDER. @@theonlyEYEBROWKING Hello! The RYKER uses a CVT which is why no shifting is needed. It is basically a scooter with with three cylinders and three wheels. I could have purchased a couple of RYKERS but, I needed something with more power and much more electronic censors for better driving dynamics something a RYKER was not made for and cannot utilize.

@@beatsmyway7332 what are you talking about? I didn't watch any of your videos 😂😂😂... The spyder doesn't get up in speed as fast as the Ryker. In a long distance race the Spyder wins of course. But the Ryker will have a faster start. It's proven. I've even seen a truck beat a spyder in a short distance race. Maybe you spent 30k plus on the spyder, and it's hard to deal with the facts of the start up speed isn't as quick as other vehicles. In my opinion the spyder especially the rt was built more so for long trips, it packs a lot of power. The Ryker is lighter in weight, and it's fully automatic.

@@theonlyEYEBROWKING Hello again! I did not mention anything about You watching My videos. You are surely making a big deal of Your RYKER against a SPYDER. Maybe You should have purchased a SPYDER. And if You have one something is wrong with it if it can not outrun a RYKER!

The Ryker has abs, traction control, electronic stability system, and all wheel electric breaking system with disk breaks. The Ryker you sit in the bike. The spider you sit on the bike. The Ryker was built to be lighter and safer. The spider is chain driven and the Ryker is direct drive shaft.

Spyder is actually driven by a belt. Not a shaft like the Ryker which has a CVT Transmission. I just bought a 2021 Spyder F-3 S, can’t wait for winter to be over. It’s cold here in the Midwest in the winter.🥶🥶🥶🥶 I have been ridding for all my life.Grew up on a dead end street when I was a kid. Can’t remember seeing a single cop come down our street. Ran an old Cushman scooter that was bigger than I was at 10 years old. I think it was owned by my uncle. Thanks Uncle Dale RIP! 😘

You install a Monster or Dynojet tune on the Spyder...AND... for extra fun...add a pedal commander to boot..that Ryker is toast!!

The European rykers have a torque limiter from 0 to 50 mph but once you turn that off they do 60 mph in 4.5 seconds...the same as a 115bhp F3S.....I’ve recorded 4.5 seconds on my ryker rallye via gps...the 900 ryker has the highest power to weight ratio of all the new can am models....hence there the quickest,maybe not top speed cos there limited to 105mph but this can also be increased. Plus the all have ABS even the 600 models plus traction control and VSS all onboard

If your ryker is stock, you absolutely did not get 4.5 seconds. The stock 0-60 is more like 7 seconds on a 900. Also, GPS is a pretty inaccurate way to measure 0-60.

@@moogies3754 nope it's 4.5 seconds once the torque limiter is removed.. There is even vids on KZread of others stating the same times. So I suggest you watch them.. There is also a good video of a F3S 110bhp going side by side against a USA ryker 900 so also not restricted and the ryker beats the F3S to 0 to 60... I know F3S owners personally and they all claim 0 to 60 times of 4 to 5 seconds... They can't all be wrong.. The gps app I use is well known and used also

Peter Murray GPS app 😂 your phone is not giving you accurate 0-60 times. Ridiculous. Sorry but without substantial mods you aren’t getting 4 second 0-60. I’m pretty up to speed in the ryker modding community and own/ mod them myself. So I don’t need to watch your videos. I have ridden with a torque limiter removal with and without other mods. On its own it is not enough to get you into 4 seconds. Not even close. Other mods have to be done to get you there, like intake and exhaust.

@@voodoochild6741 depends on the speed..from zero the 900 ryker will beat any other can am everytime...from 50 mph the F3s may have an edge ....the ryker cvt gearbox is much faster initially then the semi auto F3 box

I owned an F3 and it got to a little over 120mph. I have heard the Ryker does 105mph.

You really can’t compare the Ryker and the Spyder it’s like comparing apples to oranges. They are both from the same family but give you a different riding experience. The composition of how the bikes are built and operate are different so they behave differently. The Ryker does have ABS it just does not have Brembro brakes. Overall fun video, enjoyed it! 👌

I own an F3-S. It's a pleasure to ride. 0-60 is meaningless. The F3 is a much better bike, but I wouldn't mind a Ryker Rally, as well.

The ryker is cool, it just seem like the wheel base is to wide for my taste, the spyder is more my speed.

I'm the other way round, the ryker just looks ok but the Spyder looks great. I'm disabled so two wheels are a no no, spent a lot of time looking at trikes and this is the first one to really catch my attention,

Vroooom whoohooo Ryker then I saw the speedometer at 35mph :)) j/k Ryker won this vs, not only that its way cheaper, its easier to maintain as well.

Ryker limited to 105mph....you can raise rev limit by 500 rpm via a remap and you get 120 mph then

@The Insufferable Tool i never drove a motorcycle, Manual was my first car if that makes a difference 😂 my Ryke was my first and only so far. I love it but I just want faster. One time on the highway, i seen a group of motorcycles and i rode up with em until they took off. I was like ohh snap i can do that even though I tried 😂

Some of us can't ride motorcycles, I'm a disabled Vet and can not shift a motorcycle. The Ryker makes me able to atleast ride something.
