Get the LT1! I struggled between a 5th gen 2SS, a 6th gen SS and a brand new LT1. I went with the LT1 and after seeing this video, knowing you can get this dash I know I made the right decision.

The miles will come from your cars internal computer. It is protected and can't be changed. But it still has to be programmed to your vin so it can read the information.

Can you post a link to the gauge cluster you bought? That's a really good upgrade.

That sucks that the later models you have to take to whole dash panel off. The earlier ones was just taking off the bezel around the cluster.

Once I saw the pulling on the radio cover I was like oh no....this may be too much

It’s super simple. The whole dash disassembly and gauge cluster removal took me 15 minutes.

How about set to km/h ? Once it reaches up to 300 km/h ?

Only for 2016-2018, they said 2019+ doesnt need the wiring harness

It is on mine but you have to buy the additional parts separately and install it. If you check that box they just include the HUD screen on your dash so you can use it if you install it.

Everything works perfectly still to this day no issues. As long as you buy through them and have them program it to your vin all you have to do is install and plug it in

Nope you keep the same 3. If your car didn’t come w it from the factory you won’t have it . It can’t be added

Which car do you have? If it’s the 7”, it’s IOR. If you have the 8” w/o nav, it’s IOS. If you have 8” w nav, it’s IOT.

Whhhhattttt. I just bought a 2022 LT1 in Rapid Blue. I pick it up on Saturday. I got the RS package, technology package, dual mode exhaust, sun roof, black wheels with red brake calipers. Literally the only complaint I had was not being able to get the digital dash. This video saved me from my regrets of not buying of 2SS. I know for sure I can’t install that shit myself though.

@@YaeYae229 Then they will give you an odometer disclosure statement when you purchase the car that guarantees the mileage is accurate or your money back. It’s possible someone can change the mileage on the dash but they would have know how to program it which is highly unlikely

Wait a minute. I was told this is not just a simple swap. You didnt have to get the display programed or anything? What about the compatibility with the 7 inch stereo? Normally that dash goes with the 8 inch which has some different functions.
