If ridden correctly: no. You don't really hold on with your hands at all. You hold on with your legs and core, hands should be pretty limp and relaxed. If you feel pressure or pain in wrists then you need to adjust riding posture.

It's a ton louder. Nobody rides on my pipe side, and after two days of having the pipe, I had to start wearing ear plugs 😂
