Yeah the S4 did well considering it's well down on power vs the C43 and M340i. This is quite promising for the upcoming 355hp Acura TLX Type S. Also from looking at the 1/4-mile time, trap speed, and curb weight, the Bimmer likely makes 420+ hp. BMW under-rates their specs, but the B58 engine especially.

I got a chance to drive one of those M340i's at a BMW UDE autocross event. One of the best days of my life and it was totally free! It is definitely a fast car haha. Great video!!

Love the non launch mode drag race. shows what happens in the real world where no one uses launch mode. This should be in all your drag races.

I know the M340 will win. I just want to find out by what margin. Throttle house thanks for putting the specs on the screen!

That went exactly as expected. BMW (and Porsche) defy the laws of physics. Audi isn't concerned about being the fastest and Mercedes is on a beach somewhere sipping margaritas.

@@stoopidvideo It's one of those feelings ,) For me, in this ultra-fast changing day and age the 2015 C43 really was timeless. That Mercedes could only add rounded exhaust pipes (looks amazing though) and of course touch up the interior a little with better screens and call that a facelift for 2018 stands testament to the original W205 chassis. I really wish I could afford one but it looks like it's going to have to be the Jaguar XE S in the coming years.

I finally bought a 2020 m340i because of you guys! I watched this video years ago, and it slowly influenced me over time to get this car. Thank you so much Throttle House!

Great video guys!! My daily driver is a 2014 B8.5 Audi S4 and I absolutely love it! I've done some mods making it quicker and sound better than stock, but I feel like for the quattro awd and the way Audi does interiors it's hard to beat honestly. My weekend car is a 2013 Porsche 911 turbo s so I do enjoy German cars 🇩🇪 😎

Got a tuned ‘13 myself and it’s a great car but looking to move into the M340i. I thought I would miss the supercharger and dual clutch… except the twin scroll B58 and ZF are a gem of a combo. Didn’t feel slower than the tuned s4 (claimed 440hp tune on my gas) and actually felt about identically fast. The major difference was the Audi feels frantic hitting speed and the M340i feels like it wasn’t strained at all to pull the same speeds. Both clock 12.1@114 in the quarter, both hit 3.8 in 0-60 so identical. Seems like a great upgrade from the Audi since they’re so equal tuned vs stock. The b58 certainly left a few ponies on the table to find later too! Audi interior is a bit nicer imo but the rest goes to the the BMW. Better looks, suspension, brakes, more drama from the exhaust, slightly more efficient, and the effortless speed to be had. Both great cars. I’ll miss the charger whine for sure. Intake on it just for sound!

Phew! Im glad as I have a 2020 M340i Xdrive and it’s phenomenal. Best daily car ever over my past M3, M6 and a X5M. Brilliant balance of power and every day sleeper car.

Yeah, I predict the Type S will come in last place against these cars. The fastest 0-60 time I've seen do far was about 4.8 seconds, that's not going to cut it.

@@lloydhudson6463 let’s see what happens. Redline Reviews drag races the Type S vs the S4 and the Type S won, also his 0-60 was 4.7 on an unprepped surface. I would love to see how it does in a drag race vs these and how it does on a prepped surface

Tune ability is great between the 3. I choose Audi cause they don't need mutch mods to get good power.

I just bought my first luxury car came from a 2008 Camry to a 2020 bmw M340i love it but I got lost at the technology 😅

As a c43 this made me happy lol

My main issue with BMW’s were always the no AWD on their sportier models so I’ve always been an Audi man. Now that they’ve joined the 21st century, I may have to pick one up when they start becoming available and reasonably priced on the used market.

I have anv M340xi and they did fix it for the G series cars. The grip and launch like hell. Porsche level in my opinion.

He's a great alternative to the more conservative magazines. Throttle House fills the gap left by Chris Harris moving to Top Gear.

These guys have the dynamic of the original Top Gear trio. Best petrolhead KZread channel out there. They all have a pure, unadulterated passion for cars and their tit for tat keeps it entertaining. Oh and more Carson in the future please. Dude’s laser focus is hilarious 😂

Everybody in their grandma has a Beamer not a sleeper, c43 amg huge sleeper, when tuned with stage 1 from amr and intake 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and quarter mile in 11.2. Would dust the m340i in this video.

The M340i to me sounds the best too. It is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Love it ❤

C43 will always be the best sounding car ever. And the best car ever. It literally costs half as much as the BMW and is £10K less than the Audi.

Finally an even race. Especially since u brought out the C43 and not the C63 AMG
