What was done to delete OPF? You must've replaced the midpipes but title says only a slip on?
I don’t think the m2/m3/m4 sound is ever going to grow on me

Modern twin turbo straight six BMW's has too much rasp in them for me as well. But the single turbo M2 are pretty much perfect, specially with the M-Performance exhaust!
Unfortunately is a bad sound as like is stock exhaust. I don't know what to do with the bad sound because my DME is locked and I use a warranty to fix the engine.
Only sounds good under load
Sounds much better M4 with Akrapovic exhaust, though they have same (s55) engine.

Go buy a 2.0tdi then. What do you expect from performance cars? Got my f80 m3 with 560hp 800mm still working without any issues. Actually at 80'000 km. And thats tuning. You dont tune your car to make it a moneysaver🤦♂️ its a hobbie that costs like every other hobbie.

@@hazardeur It's almost like buying a high performance car means you're paying high performance costs. Weird eh. What do people expect they're getting out of a car like this... It isn't a hilux, it's a rwd 400(ish)hp sports car. And in all honesty there are very few cars with the fun factor of m2's anymore. Small, COMES WITH A MANUAL THANK GOD, rwd and you can drift them for literal days. People beat the shit of these cars and as long as they're kept up to maintenance wise they'll last indefinitely.

The sound isn’t for me I’m afraid; it just sounds like noise instead of a more refined sound. BMW really ruined the sound of this car, but really the issue lies with the government with all their emissions regulations.

Sound like a broken exhaust
Im sorry but its always gonna be an unpleasant sound from a turbo no matter what you do. Its not a nice sound, i prefer stock im afraid it like trying to get blood from a stone, wasting ur time.
