Great review!

Our demonstration of BMW 135i M performance, I liked the presentation of it was wonderful and also full of features such as the Sportfy and the green lines of the rear camera, very nice.

Most thorough review ever! I ordered one in Storm Bay last week, can't wait for delivery at end of September, interior is on a different level from my current M140 shadow edition, seats are superb. 👍

Very thorough video, at first I was a big fan of the Misano Blue, then I thought of going for the Alpine White, but most recently this Storm Bay Metallic is starting to grow on me and I'm going to have a really hard time once my Toyota lease expires.

Im glad they didn't put the massive grill on this as well. Cant ever see me changing the A45 for one, but another good hot hatch on the market.

Plus this and the A45 are at totally different price points. This is more of a A35 competitor. Shame the 6 cylinder has gone, but this doesn't sound too bad.

The problem that BMW always had with the 1 series was it was a bit of a dinosaur. Rear wheel drive and a big engine made it a bit of a car guys dream but it wasn't practical enough for most warm/hot hatch buyers. Plus they were awful in the snow.

What happened to the simple numbering of M - m series 1 - series 35 - 3.5 litre engine i - petrol Why is an m135 sporting a 2 litre engine and what does the 35 now mean?

It's just a model line now, the the Taycan 'turbo'

It's a great and nice video but would've fantastic if you have used the Top of The Range BMW M135i.

@@sysiankhye he is, I think he means top of the line as in full spec, This car didn’t have that many options and would cost here in The Netherlands around 65-66k. And yes this is the 2020 BMW M135i

It was mentioned in the video that it’s twin turbo. I believe it’s twin power turbo which is single turbo with this technology.

Ok so I test drove the m135i......nice inside but how are BMW gonna sell me the idea of buying into a 40k car when I can get a year old M2 comp for the same money? Real M car versus a soft performance BMW 1 series

@@Galaxy89cars as a BMW owner affordable isn't something I believe people who buy cars like this one consider. You know servicing and day to day running costs are more expensive than say an Astra or whh else go for such cars. I just cant see how I'm going to move from my m140i into one off these but I'm sure some will

@@markrhoden68 I am personally waiting till March to see what the prices will be like.. The new 1 series is not a bad car for what they are trying to sell it as(family car) the 1 series has become the safe family car range now

Ah yes, a 135i which you assume has a 3.5L straight 6 engine or at least 3L, oops you have been short changed, it's 4 cylinder and 2 L

I’ve got the 140i but it’s no 4L

BMW’s after 1995 are fun until you get to 40-50k miles. After that the entire car will begin to break. BMW’s are now so cheaply made, just look under the hood. Plastics everywhere. BMW’s I suggest you lease if you desire to have one. They are money pits and now on my list as the least reliable car today.
