2020 Audi R8 LMS GT2 Unveiled! - Sound, Accelerations & Downshifts

This was a very unexpected car, to be honest. At the 2019 Festival of Speed Audi unveiled their new R8 LMS GT2 racer which will take part in the freshly created GT2 Series by SRO Group in 2020. At the moment, only this R8 and the Porsche 991 GT2 RS Clubsport will be the two contenders of this category, but I'm pretty confident more GT2 race cars will be unveiled in the upcoming future.
The Audi R8 LMS GT2 is powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine you can find in the road legal car but a couple of horses have been added (630hp) and it weighs around 1,350 kgs. A curious particular is that the car's chassis geometry has more in common with that of the R8 Spyder rather than the coupe.

Thats the problem whit the cold ceramic brakes...and imagine you pay 20k extra to get this kind of brakes and every time in the city when you need to brake you hear that mess;D

This is the first time I've seen a spoiler like that. I've seen the top suspension method but never with the supports coming around the back haha. Very fresh and interestingly built car indeed

s1mpi know they use both use the V10 but it also comes down to the exhaust this is straight piped to avoid any restrictions for air flow

Thank you so much! Those tyres were Pirelli ones but I think the fluo yellow addition is just some kind of Plastidip/adhesive stuff you can remove

It's just paint on the tyres, might be able to find a pen / ink they use for tyre wall painting, kind of like white walling a tyre but instead fluro green walling a tyre in a certain pattern that's all.

I didn’t expect it to sound that good, except the squeaky breaks
