羽生：うん、まあ、そうですね。今、隣にいる彼らを含めて、本当に技術がどんどん高くなって、もう4回転の種類の壁というのも本当にみんな超えてきて、なんて言えばいいのかな、へへへ。やっぱり、自分ももっと超えたいなと思ってます。なので、彼らがノーミスしても完璧なフリーの演技をしても、どんな状況でも僕がクリーンな演技をしたら絶対に勝てるという状態を目指して頑張ります。

Waaay to early to tell. Remember Sochi? Yuzuru coming out of literally nowhere when we're so sure it's going to be Patrick for most of the season? (because Daisuke got injured). I'm going to bet on the possibility of other currently junior skaters making it to the podium... and also Yuzuru might not participate. He admitted he was only really interested in Sochi and Pyeongchang and he got them already. On another note, if Yuzuru does compete, barring any injuries, he might win. I noticed he needed a few seasons to completely nail new quad jumps and if he restart the lutz next season, he's got 3 years to work on it. Way enough time. That way, if he skates clean, he's likely going to win even without a quad axel.

@Sally Vee I don't know... I sort of disagree. What with the new rules and questionable judging and all. He needs the lutz/axel and I think Yuzuru knows it. He himself stated that even if he skated clean during WC, Nathan would've still beaten him. That's why he keeps mentioning about working on new quads and he's already gotten rid of any double jumps. He knows it's not enough. It's not enough now, and especially 3 years into the future. He's very smart and I'm sure he remembers what happened to Patrick at Sochi. He needs another quad and he knows it. They are down 1 jump now, he needs to pack in as many high scoring jumps as he can.
Vincent is so handsome
