Haven't done any crawling, like you guys do ,with it yet. But my cousins 19 ss se with the gytr turbo has been fantastic. The gear engagement with the ss was way better then i thought it would be. It tore the dunes a new one and so far in the mountains of Nevada it has been awesome. The x2 shocks are a huge benefit. 👍👍

I absolutely love your videos! Great info and great riding! I plan on buying a 19' this weekend. My research shows, that in addition to everything you guys mentioned, that the 19' also has larger wheel bearings, brake rotors and calipers. As well as steel braided brake lines. The SS model has a quicker clutch engagement too vs the older models. These are all small improvements under, that major improvements that you guys already talked about. I love it! After you guys approved it, I'm sold! Your opinion means a lot! I gotta have one! Keep it up! The best riding videos on You Tube!

One thing you guys didn’t mention that it is noteworthy is yamaha beefed up the brake system braided steel lines bigger master cylinder shoes all the way down the line, dynamic clutch engagement when hitting a rut or steep obstacle hold the gas down the clutch will disengage rev up and dump it up over the obstacles you go very cool

It's a great place to ride. been going there for 20 years. There is no set or marked trails. Just a big 800 acre maze with main big circle fire trail in the middle. Still easy to navigate. Main camping in the north ( WHICH YOU AND CAMP ANY ANYWHERE YOU WANT), trials every else and park is fenced in. If you have any problems, just go north. For the most part. There is few trails north of camping but you are only a few hundred yards away from camp area. Constant up and down hills. No flat other than main camping and for the most part fire trails. Just go for a week end. Not really big enough park for more than 3 days. I like it cause you can ride constant. Day or night. But must camp close to fire trail entry, to get into the trails in back. They don't want loud machines running through main camp at 3 am lol.

Love to watch your videos, I had a 17 SS with a Heavy flywheel. It wasn't for me I put over 1200 miles on it then it had to go, the half clutch is stupid drove me crazy, I tried one with the gear reduction still just not for rough rocky stuff. The half clutch will get you in trouble trying to climb up step slowly terrain.

DUNEYXZ No. Fuckin. Way. Tried one and did not like at all. Left foot:clutch Right foot:gas Left hand:steering wheel Right hand:shifter Ass:round thing that rolls around when on rough terrain because I have NO fixed anchor point on ANY appendage to hold myself in. With SS left foot is planted firmly on dead pedal pushing me back into the seat and sticking me to it. Clutch control would be nice but not worth it for the kind of riding I do. I’m sure you like yours but it’s not for me.

Get some really good ball joints too. Portals add leverage against the ball joints and break them regularly. It's super common to see a machine with portals limping back to camp on three wheels. I'm not bashing portals. Just stating facts. Anything that moves the wheels further from the ball joints adds weight and pressure to the joints. This includes wheel spacers and offset wheels. Buy yourself some Turner joints if you spend thousands on portals.
