Cassi Collins it's crazy how much it's changed since early 2000's. I used to shred on my 2002 yz426 and it was sooo heavy. Bikes are much lighter and have so much more snap in the throttle!

Corps haha right! I had the starting procedure down. I could start it in flip flops. My buddy shattered his ankle trying to start it. I miss that bike for sure man. But honestly they have made huge strides in the way they build bikes these days!

Zerxizm its a beast of a bike. Steel frame and tons of compression. Way too much bike for me at that age. But I learned to harness the power. It pulled like a tractor in every gear

Shit brother that sucks, but keep riding man. Just a little more careful. I'll tell you the older you get the longer it takes to heal, sometimes you never fully heal from certain wipeouts.

Mate this video took me to another world. The first time i rode a bike in my life was my brothers yz250 ‘09. Im now hooked. Flipped it and everything, i didnt die so know i want one.

I really appreciate and enjoy your test videos. I also laugh every time you say that you need a warmup and then immediately send it!

My first dirt bike was a TTR-230 a few years ago. Before i bought it I have never rode a dirt bike before and was looking at a Yamaha 426. After buying the 230 and a few drunken wipeouts later with no riding gear I'm glad I started off with a smaller bike. One thing I will say is the 230 made for a good backwoods trail riding bike. With its light weight and smaller size I was able to get through some really nice trails with ease and if I ever got stuck it was easy to get myself out. It also had just enough balls to conquer what I was up against.

Yeah my dad has been urging me to drop to a 250f which I’ve never ridden and don’t now how they feel compared to a 450. So I kind of want one to now what its like. But at the same time still want my 450 power (in the process of learning mx)

If you're learning mx definitely go to a 250f. You'll learn more and Learn faster and your confidence will grow. A 450 is a loaded gun, unless you know what you're doing.

Why does it seem like you let off the throttle on all the jump faces ? Or just don't give it any at all ? Just wondering . Im new to jumps but I thought you had to have consistent throttle to stay level in the air ?
