Great video, thank you for posting. I noticed that the aftermarket clips you used didn't seat all the way onto the caliper bracket. Does that cause it to be harder to install the brake pads after the bracket is on? I am only wondering because it look like you skipped the part showing putting the pads back in, and wondered if it is because it wasn't easy, or required more effort than normal? I am working on the same vehicle and have the same aftermarket clips and was wondering if they were the wrong ones?

Sorry about the skip. Completely unintentional. I don't know if there was no footage, or I just didn't feel it was necessary. It does take a little bit of effort to get the pads in, it could be because of the spring nature of the clip itself, manufacturing tolerances, or slight tweaking that happens while getting banged around in a box with brake pads. Usually if the clip is hitting the backing plate, and needs that extra little 1/32 to clear, I'll slide a flat head in there to leverage more clearance. It takes very little pressure and once the pad is in the bracket it's able to move around pretty freely.
