Yes Mount Panorama is the greatest Race track in the world. Don't go near it unless you can build an all round touring car. Long downhill straight. Uphill and downhill twisting sections and short straits. Takes an excellent driver and an excellent all round car.

300+ kph, in race conditions, in big old beasts like these... that takes some balls.

Agree. Watching these beast makes you wonder how the hell they were driven way back without the upgrades

Excellent muscle flame shooter !

This is my favorite track in the world, followed closely by Spa and Lemans... this is so fun to watch and even more fun to drive 👍👍 (albeit on a simulator from my home in Florida 🤦‍♂️).

ford falcon, xy gt ho, 4 door. 1971. from the factory. 4 sp. 3 people on board. full trim, on victorian back raods. filmed, at 160 mph.. before going on sale.. they doctored the pic. down to 140 mph.. its funny how at the official bathurst,or any race, holdens won.. but. on all these historic races, holdens, toransa, hq monaro,s. commodores. struggle.. sierras were banned in1989. for coming 4 laps ahead, of brock. boo hoo. ban them, we cant compete..

can someone tell me what is the spec difference between our CMC from NZ and the Aussie Touring Car Masters? seems to be pretty good parity?

This is Mt Panorama, Bathurst, NSW, Australia. The home of Australias Great Race, the Bathurst 1000, 161 laps, 1000kms. Search for it, if you are a lover of motor sport, the Bathurst 1000 is a must see.

I know it seldom if ever wins, my favourite Car is Cam Tilley's Pacer Valiant!!!! Anyone know which motor he uses now???

How about you shut up, any person who can actually see can watch this video with no problem, how about you sort your life out and stop complaining about the quality of car racing videos on youtube.

Holden and Ford are dead "production" racing died 40 years ago. I would gladly pay to see these cars race once a month or twice a year what ever made it sustainable.
