Bought the same bike in black back in sept. 2018. Its a 2019 114 great power great looks and im sure you’ll enjoy her as much as I enjoy mine. I went with a harley hammock seat yaffe 12” bars for more comfort. Good luck ride safe and keep on HOGging

I got the same bike same color. So far loving it and so is the wife. Custom Dynamics for the blinkers front and rear. Hogworkz LED headlight with halo is the way to go.

great video! I rented a road king for the keys this past February and decided to try a Streetglide for next February. I rented an Indian Chieftain and liked the locking saddlebags and the electric windscreen and the sound system and all that stuff. The issue I have is that there are more service centers for Harley. what good is a bike if you can't get it serviced for a reasonable price. There are only so many Indian service centers and they can charge you whatever you want and what choice do you have if you don't like it.

I have owned a heritage. Wide glide. Fatboy. And a street glide. The street glide is the best. My opinion it handles better than any other that I have owned. Thanks for the video

I know you from the firearm videos. I have a 2014 Street Glide Special. I recommend the Harley Sundowner seat for you and Mrs Hegshot for distance. Its wide cushioned seat comfortable for long rides.

Good stuff! l love listening to every ones opinion. I just bought the 2020 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse and love it! I couldnt decide for the longest time whether to by the Street Glide or the Cheiftain. I just felt that Indian gave you more bike in 2020 then Harley did. If this were 2019 I probably would have bought a Street Glide. Love the bike I have!

I love the Streetglides but being a taller rider I prefer my Ultra limited because it has more ground clearance and I can take the tourpack off when riding alone which makes it basically a Streetglide. When my lady is with me I use the tourpack for more storage and comfort for her. The Streetglides and Roadglides are about 1.5--2 inches lower so they have less lean angle. I like the new bikes but I still prefer the Twincams. You have a beautiful bike bud. Excellent review

How do you find the rear suspension when riding with a passenger? I hear a lot of complaints about the suspension. It is the one thing still making me consider the Chieftain!

This a badass bike. It's my dream bike. I never thought I would ever love a Harley, until I rode one. Maybe because I'm getting older too👍!

hate the fact they dont have drain plug on the forks, have to time it between tire and pad changes i guess

I have the billiard blue version of this bike. I added thunder headers and fuelpack 3. my only real complaint is that FP3 does not do well on this bike. The only thing I would recommend is an aftermarket Cam install.

That was the best purchase besides the bike.

Low profile rims suck already had my rim & tire destroyed on a pothole. 2 other bikes hit it and had no problems.

Sena or Whim are not required for Apple car play, you can have limited function of it with just a reflash. You will be able to get WAZE, google maps, you tube music, pandora and some other functions but no voice commands.

@@binarym that’s what I hear now. I still have mine at least until I update. Though Android auto is still available without WHIM or microphone. Evidently Apple got wind that CarPlay was being enabled without microphone and made H-D make changes to keep people from holding Apple accountable in case of a wreck due to manipulating radio/phone manually rather than hands free.

2019 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special does Not come with the docking equipment for a sissy bar. That has to be something your dealer through in to sweatin the deal for you. I own one and mine along with all the other ones I looked at did Not have the docking equipment.

Just watched another video by an HD dealer that demonstrated how your dealer can reflash your radio and disable wireless, which will enable you to use Apple CarPlay without the headset. Search KZread and you’ll see it.

Rene Pena I would prefer an Indian over an Harley! But I’m into the touring bikes so both Harley and Indian are well out of my price range. Enjoy that Indian when you get it!

I am in the market and i am really tossed between the Indian Chieftain and the H-D Street Glide Special. I love the scorched orange but we are too far into 2019 models, i think i am going to wait for the 2020 models which should be released next week at Sturgis for both. Harley does have better colours, but i think the Indian is a better bike in the way that you get more for your money. As for what i hate, for Indian i hate the dash cluster, i just dont like it, looks like a robot face and wile is not that big of a deal, it is what i look at. As for Harley, what i do hate is the suspension and lack of locking saddlebags. Neither Harley or Indian is perfect, but Indian seems to be closer and i hear about less problems with Indian than i do with Harley. Honestly, my mind isn't made up yet.

@@samueldesalvo1872 Thanks, i actually just found and purchased a 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour with (get this) 83 miles, yes, 83 miles. It has a shit load of upgrades (try oval exhaust, performance air intake), basically a new bike and still has warranty until August 29, 2020. Also picked up a 2016 Victory Magnum with 2300 miles, got both for less than i would have paid for a H-D Street Glide Special

My opinion on why harley is dying. 1. The bikes are expensive 2. The younger generation dont wanna spend their money or momma or daddies money on bike, or they said no. 3. Younger generation that has money is leaning towards the crotch rockets for less money.

Brandon Taylor I have a 2019 Harley Davidson road glide special The bike is an absolute fucking cow slow as fuck heavy as fuck not to mention after 10 minutes in traffic it’s fucking burning my legs to death $35,000 and they can’t even have a fucking liquid cooled engine no LED lights you’re paying just for the fucking name the reason why they’re dying is because it might’ve caught the attention of the older crowd because they thought the bikes were amazing the younger people are more smart and frugal with their money I won’t fall for okey-doke.

Apple car play? Harley needs to cater to Android phones. Disney should also get a clue because they only cater to Iphone.

Most people dont like harley because of their price tags. Good thing president trump tariff tax on steal didnt effect them or who knows what would have happened.

I have owned several Harley Davison‘s have rode almost every single one and I have to give you my honest opinion it is the most overpriced non-technology wise motorcycle on the market today. It has only survived by the hoopla and nostalgia of Harley Davison name let’s face it the bikes look awesome but that’s where it ends they’re handling his shit if you’re cornering you’re scraping your fucking pegs all over the concrete. The engines overheat in like 10 minutes in traffic the warrantee is fucking bullshit they seem to be changing day by day and adding stupid bullshit to take away your warranty don’t get me started on their fucking $350 service to change your fucking oil I will be trading my Harley Davison. Not to mention if you want to get any kind of performance out of the engine you have to go all the way up to stage four and spend like another $7000 which is absolutely insane.Only to get blown by on the expressway by craigslist motorcycle for $3500. They spend a shit ton of money on advertising from fucking clothing to gear the helmets to cups to pet clothing shoes and then they pass the money down to the consumers to get fucked!!
