2019 SEC Championship (Georgia v LSU) One Hour

After years of attempting to overcome Alabama and Auburn in the SEC West, the LSU Tigers have vanquished those demons and with one more victory in the SEC Championship Game, will finally play in a College Football Playoff game. Standing in their way is the Georgia Bulldogs, who possess the nation's 2nd ranked defense. Heisman candidate Joe Burrow, however, leads and LSU offense that is ranked 2nd in the nation offensively. It's a battle of wills so sit back, relax, and enjoy the 28th annual SEC Championship Game.

I enjoyed watching this LSU team more than any other team in my life. Not really a big LSU fan, but I root for them some. The history with that is as a kid, I'd listen to their games at night on AM radio from 1,000 miles away or whatever. This was the era of 4 tv channels and not a whole lot of night football. All that crap aside, Burrow and his teammates on offense, the playmakers on D were SOMETHING. (and Ed O is already history as I type.....)

The really bad thing about this game is that it knocked Georgia out of the playoffs. Georgia was better than Oklahoma.

Joe had 44 TD pass as of this game. He ended up with 60. Think about that. 16 TD pass in playoffs only

@@BabyBudders I mean honestly what more could he have done? The defense was solid early on against LSU. The problem was a lack of QB competence from Jake Fromm, and a few plays Burrow made that no defensive strategy could stop. UGA's inability to score on offense lost this game. And Jake Fromm was the main culprit.

@@shawnd229 Kirby could’ve started Fields in 2018 when he realized the future of cfb offenses. He watched Tua, Trevor, Fields, and Burrow put up monster numbers and still stuck with Fromm. Now that they won a ring with Stetson, he still hasn’t been forced to address his retarded qb decisions. Had he lost another big one to Bama, UGA fans and media would’ve forced the point. Instead, he got rewarded for his stubborn ways. Luckily I’m a Bama fan so I’m glad he hasn’t learned.

Give Georgia credit - LSU put numbers up on everyone: 46 on Alabama 58 on Ole Miss 56 on Arkansas 50 on Texas A&M 63 on Oklahoma 42 on Clemson Georgia at least held them to 37.

Now that I went back and watched all LSU games they got away with ton of plenty’s offensively. They got away with 11 holds in this game alone but they got away with holds, illegal man down field, pick plays, there offense line loves to grab the opposing team facemask. Don’t get me wrong they had great Wr but when it came down to playing top defensives like the game against Georgia. They had to hold to create enough time for big plays. Even in that auburn game they got away with tons of holds. I liked the Alabama offensive better

I went back and watched all of the games too !!! I seen the exact same thing, but the other way around !!! I mean the Alabama offensive guards & tackles literally line up in the backfield scooter !! LOL !!! Holding SMH !! You can call holding both ways on every single play in a game !!! I like the LSU offense better, just simply because they didn’t have to wait until a team changed from their base defense to a prevent defense before they were able to move the ball !!! Nope, instead they completely boat raced 5 top 15 ranked defenses from the start of the game up until them would let off the gas in the 2nd half !!! They also didn’t play against the 29th ranked strength of schedule either. You know,, like how the other team that you’re talking about did !!!

yeh, but not Georgia. they were not holding at all. Chase was held in the end zone and Georgia def. line never held when LSU had the rush on. no team plays a clean game. even the referees make mistakes, lol.

@@willfromclaycogaming820 again, it's only LSU that was "holding like crazy that season on the offense line", right? Georgia lost the game because their offence could not score against LSU's defence. you're just butt hurt because your dogs got knocked out of the playoffs by a better team. and your dogs lost to LSU in 2018 as well. lol
