I didn’t remove the two small resonators and it sounds really good. It sounds great but I don’t want to have a truck to loud for my daily driver

Very good idea, don’t remove the resonators. I regret getting a catback which removes the resonators, and now I’m installing a vibrant resonator back in

weld your weep holes or just use JB weld. there are 4 weep holes per resonator. it'll eliminate the airy sound from the exhaust.

Hey thanks for the videos! I ordered the same setup and have installed the muffler and tips. Haven’t gotten around to installing the res deletes yet. Jus wondering in your opinion, how much louder is it without the res deletes. Is it worth it to remove them or just leave em

What did you decide in the end? IMHO the res serves a good purpose. I think I’ll leave mine on, but I’d love to hear your feedback.

Thanks for this comparison I have the B2Fab muffler with resonators had the round or aggressive muffler on but it drowned to much at highway speed and kept getting louder too. Wondering how this set up without resonators is going to be at highway speed at light loads they get irritating

Just took the truck on an 1100 mile round trip. Very comfortable noise level at highway speeds with this setup. I haven’t heard the “aggressive” muffler in person.

I have the aggressive ( round) muffler with the resignator delete and their tail pipes. Getting rid of the resignators made a bid improvement in drone to me. At 75 I can hardly hear any. Awesome sound now love it.

Sounds awesome! I’d love to see some exterior driving clips of it. I’m trying to decide which muffler to get from B2 for my 2021 Built to Serve edition that I just got.

@@daviddenton6620 I have a similar setup with 14” magnaflow. Deleted the resonators and went to 5” tips after a month. Sound was not bad with just the muffler but I wanted to hear what it sounded like so followed my wife and could barely hear the exhaust unless you got on it. Now it really opens up and highway cruising it’s just alittle bit louder but not bad at all. I usually don’t drive with the radio on and it’s pretty quiet inside.

Very very little if any. I’ve had exhausts on other vehicles that have droned. I’m happy with this set up even on road trips.

With the resonators delete any drone in the cab?

Nothing significant. Very happy with noise level in the cab. Posted another video from inside the cab. Did my best to capture what I could. Check that one out if you like.

If you keep it in Tow/Haul mode it will keep it in full. 8 cylinder mode which is a workaround of the MDS

Or use the gear selector and put it in 8th gear. Tow/haul shifts way higher than “normal”
