That's a beautiful Ram!!! I bought my 1500 Ram brand new back in 2005 and mine has the 5.7 Hemi Magnum and 230,000 on the odometer. Basic maintenance is all I've ever had to do on it. Still have the original rear end. Never left me stranded or ever broken down. It's been a great truck!

The only thing better than this truck is the way the OP handles criticism in the comment section. He's polite and respectful even when people post rude comments. I really wish more people on the Internet would act as civil as him.

I was going to buy an AT4 or a high country and lift it. Ended up with a RAM limited night, because they drive sporty and the interior is so cool and comfortable

I've never had a problem out of the two Rams I've owned and both with the 5.7 hemi. Well over 200000 miles on both and never an issue besides a o2 sensor. Run Pennzoil 5w 20 full synthetic in the one I have now and runs like a champ !!

This is one bad 2019! I'm a diehard Mopar guy and only buy Ram, but HD only. I may get a 1500 for a daily user. This truck and it's technology and interior set the bar seriously. The Ford EcoBoost is a stout motor, but they too have issues after 120k miles. BUT as you said, all in how you care for your vehicle.

The 2019 RAM interior is WITHOUT QUESTION.... thee best interior of ANY truck make.... and it truly rivals luxury car aesthetics and quality. I was all set to buy one *until* I googled RAM problems as a final research before ordering one. It was at that point that I came across countless complaints about the infamous 'Hemi Engine Tick' which Dodge has not addressed for years. The questionable engine/drivetrain quality combined with their past rust issues sent me back over to Ford.... I have a new Ford F150 Lariat, loaded up on order. Since I live in a winter climate, I think the Aluminum body will serve me well. Audi and other high end mfgs have been using aluminum for years. Too bad.... I REALLY wanted the Dodge for the interior and ride quality.... but also wanted better long term reliability. I have a friend who's son worked at Dodge as an Engineer. He recently left Dodge because he said he couldn't take it anymore - - - said that every engineer is trying to do the job of 3 people, and they can't get anything done, and done right because the workload is just unrealistic.... that kind of pressure and 'rush' mentality equates to poor implementation down the road. My F150 will be my first Ford ever. I hope it will be a good purchase.... my friends have all been happy with their F150's. I did have a dealer grab two random sets of 2019 RAM 1500 keys and start two trucks up cold.... cold meaning they haven't been started in a few days...although the ambient temperature was 80 degrees. BOTH of them started out ticking like a bucket of bolts, and then it quickly went away after about 5 seconds.... but this is the very common Hemi Engine Tick that is annoying as hell at best, and a future mechanical problem at worst..... I just couldn't do it as much as I did like the interior and ride quality. The RAM does ride like an SUV..... no question it kills Ford and Chevy for ride quality and interior. They sell a ton or work trucks... The ford is so cheap inside and drives like a boat. Throttle is lazy, brakes are lazy. I drove the new Ford, Toyota, Chevy, and finally the Ram Limited that I purchased and there is no question Dodge wins out. It's the best overall truck on the market and most of the reviews are reflecting that. You get so much more for your money buying a Ram then you do a F-150, Tundra, or Silverado. Just my 2 cents. Yes I'm biased because I bought one but it's by far and away the best driving most comfortable and loaded truck you can get. I would encourage anyone... just go drive them. If you don't pick the RAM after that then you are just a brand loyalist. With the available warranties now I haven't thought twice about my purchase, love driving this thing every day.

@@Coolin888 - obviously personal preference. I ended up buying the Ford Lariat 5.0 V8...pretty well loaded...and absolutely love it. When your Dodge rusts out or the Hemi Engine tic rears its ugly head, you will be doubly disappointed when you discover the resale value is far worse than Ford. The Ford 5.0 has better acceleration than the hemi 5.7. That said...good luck with your Dodge, I truly hope it is the exception. PS - this is my first Ford purchase ever....and again...I am super impressed.

The Ford V8 was a slug. I drove it. the brakes were lazy and the truck swayed like a hot air balloon. The Ram (no longer dodge btw) has more than enough power, handles much better, drives incredibly smooth, looks better, has premium features that the others just do not have. My challenge to anyone is go drive it. See for yourself. People read these reviews by nerds on the internet and go in with pre-conceived expectations. Just go drive it. For a decently equipped Lariat the sticker is 60k. I can promise anyone that you get much more for your money with the RAM. My RAM is a lease so will be under warrenty the whole time I have it so I could care less about a "tick" or a resale value. I'll be trading mine in, in three years to get a new one.

A Slug? Hmmmm.... the F150 V8 beats the RAM (renamed Dodge to protect the guilty) in every drag race I have seen online..... I will agree that the steering is more nimble on the RAM, and the interior is untouchable.... but as far as drive trains, reliability, Rust resistance, payload, and RESALE value, the RAM comes up short. But as you can see, I am at least objective and can point on the pluses and minuses of even the vehicle I chose. Beautiful!! Love the new Ram. It blows everyone else away as far as design. I plan to buy a Longhorn with the black and saddle interior. As far as quality, I don't believe any of them are any better than the others. Honestly, they're all built with cheap parts supplied by the lowest bidder. My way of thinking is this: Buy the one you like, get an extended warranty, take care of it, and trade it before the warranty runs out.

Going from my summit white double cab, Z71 off road standard 6'6" bed, bench front seat 2015 4x4 1500 LT Silverado, trailer package, 3.4 axle, without rear opening window into the white 2019 4x4 Laramie crew cab, 3.9 axle with air suspension and E- torque, 6'4" bed, front bench style seat, full panoramic sunroof, with rear opening window and recline rear seats. I really like the tranny shift dash knob Dodge has. No shifter in our way whatsoever, hooray!! Also making sure the passenger seat is fully electric with lumbar and height adjustable. I had to add the large size extending trailer mirrors and in channel window rain guards myself to my Silverado but it's really neat how Dodge has the rotating style dual functionality mirrors. Hopefully window rain guards will be a standard or standard option on vehicles because they are great! I'm trying to build the most versatile on/off road truck possible. Any suggestions or ideas please, like mud flaps, wheel size and style, etc. ? Thank You

have to agree with you there George...you work hard all your life to better yourself financially and for what...to make higher payments? even switched to leasing but that's expensive also....no sir used cars here on out...cash only

ALL 4 FUN lol ...We love our fords, but this Ram is just amazing especially the limited and the interior is unbelievable... My ford drives like a sport car/truck which I love but the Ram is more like a cadi ...Thank you for watching

Bargainteers I Owen nothing but Fords and 1 bmw ... I have 2018 Ford F-150 and a 2017 Ford F-250 show truck...both of them are show trucks actually

Bargainteers I've owned two Ram 1500 with the 5.7 motor and never an issue anywhere besides an o2 sensor. And well over 200,000 miles on both !!

I've owned them all, and let me tell you Ford structural integrity along with their cheap plastic interiors doesn't even come close to the Ram or the Silverado. The rear ends in the Fords start howling once they get up in 80 thousand plus mile range.

Da'amn! That thing looks amazing, inside and out. I had a 2012 Ram, and it sure did have a lot of gremlins in it though.
