Fascinating, these guys drop a 70 year old plow from a 70 year old tractor into the ground as casually as I would go for a walk around the block. On their day off. This is what made America Great!

Those older tractors were some of the best built tractors ever made. I used a rebuilt 4010 to unload silage and my brother's 806 for other things and neither one were built with the quality of my father's Super M and my grandfather's 60. We used to plow with the M, 60 and a Farmall 350 with a fast hitch. The good old days!

I was 10 when my dad purchased a 1959 row crop 730 diesel He put me on it pulling 4-16" 10" deep and that tractor never missed a beat We also had a 1969 4020 pulling 5/16" and the 730 used half of much fuel as the 4020 I'm so glad we still have both tractors ,they're priceless in my eyes 👍

These guys actually know how to plow to a uniform headland...way better than some of the videos I've seen.

Back in the late 50's and early 1960 my Father farmed almost 600 acres with 2 G's and a 77 Oliver. I can tell it's a G even with my eyes shut. We had one G that Pop had bored out a bit with higher compression heads and pistons. He would put a few gallons of diesel in when he filled with gas. That one would pull a 4 bottom plow. Thanks for posting this great vid.

The old G liked its fuel. Just about needed to pull a fuel tanker behind the plow to quench the Gs thirst. I remember the FFA plowing a field; there was one G and no one but the owner got on that tractor.

Great video. I wish I could find a plow day to go to close to me. Those tractors sound good running. Thanks for sharing with us.

My dad's nickname is "putt putt" because of these old 2 cylinders. We still used them when I was growing up. JD 720 Diesel was the first tractor I ever drove.

I don't have a Deere, Farmall or Moline, but I do have an old 1948 Ford 8n She runs beautifuly!
