Sure has changed from 1971 when I started. Drove every type from bull wagon,reefer,gas tanker, bulk tank, drop deck, flat bed, rail, dry box, low boy. Only one I didn't drag down the road was a car hauler in almost 50yrs of trucking.

I am Greek. I live in Greece. I am not a truck driver, neither citizen of U.S. I've never visit your country unfortunately. However i love this kind of trucks. Here in Greece we don't have these but surely i can admire a very good job and a way of life you have there, for us, only dreams. You are large in every aspect, and build beautiful large things. I notice that only to remind you, if someone forget it only because he or she doesn't know other parts of the world, you live in a country worth to live at.

I have a Volvo 780. Pretty big sleeper. One day needed to grab something just out of my reach. Well I reached for it and slipped on the carpet under the pedals and fell out of my seat. Don't know how I didn't crash but managed to keep it on the road...barely! Never again!

Yes the truck that he is showing in this video is an automatic. I set in the drivers seat and it took me several minutes to even find where to put it in gear at!! I have never drove an automatic

I'm not hauling nothing ! I'm going to use it for my camper ! Increase the food storage with a freezer and toy hauler ! That would be a sight to see pulling into one of those custom coach campgrounds people would be jealous !

Most flying j. If you fuel you can dump for 3 dollar. In the mid west many free dumps at truck stops. Or you can carry inside an put in toilet as it all turns to liquid. Rest areas out west have free dumps also

I have a 144in sleeper with a 311 inch wheel base and pull a 53 foot trailer. it is legal, drivers need the skill to do it.
