What a great transformation! Everyone had that two braid hairstyle it seems like back in the day. And idk how you even try to keep your hair out in the humidity. I usually keep a sew in.

Kita the Explorer 😂 those two braids. I don’t have my straight hair out in the humidity anymore...and I’ve never tried a sew in. I’m sure it’s a great protective style.

I use a mixture of oils on my hair and scalp every few days...rose oil, castor oil, almond oil, jojoba oil etc. I also love using the Shea moisture Manuka Honey deep conditioner each week.

Your hair journey is lovely. I think you should continue straightening it. Curly is pretty too, but straight hair suits you better. That's just my opinion though. Big like for you!

Heat can Uhm damage hair..so it is not great without heat protectors
