My daughter showed me this last night and finally Minecraft made sense to me. Thank you for giving everyone an escape to feel like they can be back to real life during this pandemic. We had annual passes for 12 years and it's something we miss most. Now not only does she get to experience it with all her friends, she gets to have every childs dream. To experience Disneyland as if it were closed to the public and she can explore tp her hearts content!

Kid: Mom let's go to Disneyland. Mom: We have Disneyland at home. Disneyland at home...

This is AMAZING! Great job!

The mansion itself looks a bit squished, but the 3D models are fantastic! The hallway of doors animations were totally unexpected, you really got the smaller gags and details from the real ride into this.

Thanks! The mansion isn’t squished, it’s just on a weird angle and I never showed it from the very front. We measure everything out so it’s all spaced evenly.

I am amazed by this whole video, but what really sent me through the roof was the fact that the builder included the library in the room behind the curtains in the ballroom. I’ll never forget riding the actual ride at Disneyland and seeing those curtains open to reveal a library with floating books behind there. It’s been closed ever since making me think it may have been just my imagination. I’m curious if the builder saw the same thing and added it here because of that.

Looks pretty simple actually, the ceiling and paintings are entities that simply move up when needed, revealing more of the painting, and making it seem like the room is stretching. The actual walls just extend further than you think.

dive ball vaporeon actually... it’s not modified aside from server plugins! Everything done here can actually be done in vanilla Minecraft (though some of it painstakingly), and anyone can join the server in vanilla java edition to experience it!

If it's on a server it should just automatically install the necessary resource packs if you have that enabled.

im making my own haunted mansion. i can tell that yours is better but 10 times just by the beginning

The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides at the park, great work to the people who put so much effort and detail into this Minecraft recreation. Do you know when Star Tours will open in Tomorrowland?

The beginning should have played that creepy windy atmosphere sound effect

How did you do the stretching room? It’s important for me and my older sis Disneyland was all of our early childhood and we always wanted to make all the rides in Minecraft and i was assigned to make Indiana Jones, haunted mansion, big thunder mountain, and pirates of the Caribbean, also space mountain and the Star Wars ride!

I think the Haunted Mansion is actually a white hotel or vacation mansion, because the corridor of doors reminds me of hotel corridor. (this is just a theory)

how do I connect to this from Minecraft WIN 10 version? I tried but it says it's wrong. :c

No mods, its just a server with some plugins and a resource pack.

Most effects and animatronics are able to be done in vanilla minecraft, no plugins required!

Prismarine is good but the green is slightly too faded for the look in the real mansion. Also, only the accents of it are green- the roof is actually brown!
