How to put vehicle into Brake pad replacement mode on Mercedes C300 & many other models of this age.
The brake pads replacement mode is for vehicles with electronic handbrakes so the calipers can be wound back to enable replacement of the rear brake pads.

Cheers! Most videos I came across had the old style steering controls. Good point also about being a right hand drive car.

If your doing one at a time at home do u leave this setting on until all brakes are replaced and then finish the computer procedure or do u have to do it after each pad is replaced.

Do you have to leave the car on the whole time while changing the brakes? or can be turned off while performing the maintenance ?

Pretty sure you can turn it off , I usually just do it when I’m ready and leave it on

I’ve not had to do a sprinter yet mate , but if it’s got electronic hb it should be very similar procedure

You'll need a mechanic to take a look Mate, maybe issue with the caliper
