Welcome to TruckTube!!! On our channel we upload daily, one of our original, short (2-4min), walkaround videos of Heavy Trucks, Light Trucks, Tractor Trailers, Busses and all types of commercial vehicles that you can see on the road!!!

If they wanted to, could the US export European city buses like how European cars are exported?

Yes. AC Transit of Oakland California, for example, operates almost every variant of Van Hool’s European city bus line (models AG300, A300L, A300K and A330). Politically it is very difficult and this was received as a flop by the media at the time... so for the past 10 years they’ve stuck to American models and no other city has taken the leap. American busses are so much cheaper these days anyway due to subsidies and import tariffs and have advanced a lot in design to the point it doesn’t make sense to import normal city buses except for those types that aren’t made in America at all, like double decker city busses, which AC Transit has purchased from the UK’s Alexander Dennis.

They don't prefer MAN, they usually only want Ford or other things

@@joshuashacklewood2995 First of all, in America, MAN is expensive to export from Germany. And the transport company doesn't want to waste this much money. Here in Singapore, we are lucky enough that we got them. Second, American stuff wants to be different, in New York, their buses doesn't have an actual model. They are made by MTA. But at least maybe they can export Volvo, Mercedes, Hino or Ford buses
