I've heard a lot of the greats, and I can honestly say I've never heard a guitar player translate their personality through their guitar as Gregg does...it''s really astounding how much of an extension of his personality his guitar is....he really shows me what to reach for....thanks Gregg!!!

Such great attack........so melodious..........and no damn pedals! Greg is a stone cold monster guitarist!
Not only envious of Greg's playing, also love the fact that he's playing with his son. Something really beautiful about that.

Dave Starns Funny... i just openly asked Dad to play with me before he bites of the bullet today... He is a jazz bass player...both electric and double bass....me, im a Rock guitar player. I think he sees my Rock style as a subversive rejection of his generation.. and by extension, him. And to a large degree, he'd be correct. But the middle ground, i think...is the blues... And im not 18 anymore (I'm more than double that!). And I've been really working on my blues style playing this year. I'll never master jazz in time...so I hope i can convince Dad to come and play some blues with me...

Greg is undoubtedly one of the all time wildest and most versatile and creative guitarists that has ever been, but beyond that, and perhaps most importantly, he infuses every note with the most wonderful sense of humor. I was rolling on the floor with his bluesy crazy blasphemous version of Red House -- my favorite version of this tune of all time.
I got to see Greg and Pat Travers and Andy Timmons at the same show in a little town in Wisconsin.Greg can do things with his guitar that I've never seen before. He is a real master of his craft.

His guitar tutorials and lessons are an absolute blast as well. What a personality ..both in the person and the instrument. That's all you can ask for in the end as an artist: that you are recreating yourself in your craft. Great job Greg Koch!
Greg has always been amazing..... but i think the young guys are inspiring influence on him .... he is actually immersing himself in the music and reaching new heights with this group .... incredible
This is what talent sounds like
Gregg - great jamming - you and the band are GREAT!
Greg’s otherworldly guitar playing is brilliant!!!!! He is always my top musical highlight of NAMM every January. I can’t wait to see him play live again next month.....
What a great band too, his son Dylan smokes and that monster on keys woooowwwwww
Greg has such great hands. He pulls tones out of the guitars. Very refreshing to hear such an unadulterated sound.
One cable right to the amp No bass players And no boring part from the show #Legend

I don't know what Greg Koch's fascination with gristle is, but damned if I didn't laugh out loud here at work with the headphones on when he yelped out "gristle-headed baby" in the middle of "Red House."

Dylan actually plays too loud. Some of us "still hearing" types don't like to be on stage with that. Watch when Josh Smith plays with them. He winces when Dylan plays. Doesn't mean I don't love this family affair, just means he needs to learn some finesses/dynamics when beating on those drums...
