I bought a 2018 DMax 250 LEED (58kw) at an auction, so basically the same spec as the 1 you're driving in the video. I just can't figure out if there's something wrong with the bakkie or is it normally slow like that. I have to push my foot through the floor to get it to accelerate. But overall a tough, reliable bakkie that can do the work without breaking down etc😊

Thats a diesel pickup its going to be slow but have alot of torque than petrol

Right hand driving can be very confusing

Actually it's more logical because most people are right handed, so your stronger arm can control the steering whilst your weaker arm changes gear, which doesn't required any notable amount of strength.

The dashboard looks like it comes from a nissan Navara

2.5 L displacement and only 78 horsepower? Why no turbocharger?

Vehicle does have a turbo but its a low output turbo for reliability. There is a HO version of this engine which has 100kw and 320nm.

This is a very optimistic speedo hey? 220km/h?! This bakkie will not see 220 if you shot it into space on a rocket 🤣

77 HP for a N/A Diesel 2.5 ain't much.
