With over 3000m of vertical ascent in 75km the Imbuko Big Five MTB Challenge is arguably one of the toughest one day events in SA. But riders are rightfully rewarded with some of the best trails in Wellington (and SA), which makes up for the climbs. The event is also strategically timed as a perfect test for pre Epic riders or those who want to see if they have what it takes to tackle the Tour de France of Mountain Biking.
