@pagansforbreakfast well isnt that a smarmy way of saying you disagree. If we can be objective here, there is a significant amount of dead air which is one of the most important things to avoid as a broadcaster or commentator. Like an uncomfortable amount of dead air. And the sound engineers for the broadcast don't turn up the audio of the race, it's just quiet with faint engine noises. Not to mention nothing insightful is added that we can't see for ourselves and unless you actively follow this particular series, you have no idea the circumstances of the race or anything whatsoever. Love and miss those cars
Whenever I see this era of racing, it reminds me of Paul Newman.
I really liked this era sports car racing..the best..!

They were taken back by the awesomeness. this is their era of racing, so they have very fond memories of them.
Nice Cars but i missing the Audi 90:-)
Glad to see these cars surviving and being driven still
Great video. But 1/2 the field is trans am not GTO. And the 33 Duracell car was driven by Scott sharp not Scott Pruitt
How many times is he going to say "on your big screen"?

Rick Hoppe It’s because the commentary is for the track radio that the spectators can tune into. It’s not really meant for video really hence the dead air, why he is saying ‘on the big screen’ etc. Might be bring captain obvious with this but seen it being mentioned a lot
Why is every other line "On your big screen"

Theyre broadcasting to the track over the loud speakers, so I guess theyre just updating everyone that has a screen to look at it lol even though at a street course thats all you usually do lol
To anyone wondering, I did set up in the Expo area for LBGP, and let me tell that rx7 is ripe in person. Best sound in the world.
IMSA should bring this class back
Super cool! Are they gonna have the GTO cars back next year?
commentators are so young they confuse camaros with foxbody mustangs😂😂😂😂
dude I just had a friggin old school trans am sugar rush like a mug ,maaaaaan I love these things
Seit froh das kein Audi dabei ist 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
GRAND TOURING OVER
Dear God, it's 2019, you should be able to have a proper mix between annoying announcers and those lovely engines...smh
I wonder what the repair costs were. That contact made my gut sink.
That 300zx !!
Terrible commentators. Why not speak about the history of the cars, the different makes and engines, original drivers of the era etc?
wish the trackside audio was louder.
Love my Z32 🎯❤🔥
What's that yellow car in 3rd that took out the pink Chevy? Sounds like a v6?
I think my favorite car is that FC3S RX-7.
awesome. couldn't find a scanner feed for this race, so had no real idea on what was going on!!
No Audi?
@ 5:20 that would be Scott Sharp in the past at the wheel of #33 not Pruett...... just saying
They really need to special production/super silhouettes regs to return
Isn't that 300ZX an IMSA GTS car though? I mean, the only 300ZX that's the actual IMSA GTO car is the Z31 in Planters livery? No?
Will these cars be coming back anytime soon?
Amazing cars ! 😱
Best looking Racecars is so nice
Where is Audi 90 gto
"There's a different #8. That isn't a Mustang" "...okay..." Event is cool, perhaps the comms guys need to lighten up a bit
That 300ZX loves to throw flames...such a beautiful race car 😍
How Quick are these cars? Their lap times??
Those complaining about the commentary.... it was a radio commentary and not actual live TV commentary hence the challenges they had. #fakenews
These cars are beautiful I've never seen them before. It's like a sports version of Nascar. Very cool.
They should have gotten Ken Squire or Martin Haven to commentate this race in all honesty.
3:09 - I got the Hot Wheel Di-Cast of that car!!
😍😍😍
Where is the Audi
I bet Tommy Kendall could still drive the snot out of that Beretta.
This is awesome, and the Nissan... Ftw!
interlaced video hurts my head.
They're way smaller than I imagined
I was there.
21:56 how could you ruin the bodywork and get into a wreck? Those are lovely cars!
Willie t ribs and the Toyota would slay
ロビーゴードンのダッシュは上手く行かなかったみたいですね☺️
Those are all bucket list track cars, but I would take the RX7 first pick...
It's so sad to see cars going electric, we're never going to have stuff like this again. Oh well...
And AUDI?
