I am buying one tomorrow! Really. It is the most beautiful and classic bike Harley makes to my eye. And it is very comfortable. I am 5'11" and a fit 190 lbs. - the riding position is perfection.

It is a stellar bike and what a looker. The classic style gets me everytime. Plus, I had it chromed out at the dealer: lower forks, controls, reservoirs, pedals, ss control lines, etc.

"Jealous because you had to put so much into your V-Star to make it like this" .... Tell me about it, lol. I had a Yamaha V-Star Classic 650 back in 2010, so much needed to be altered for my 5'3" frame. Mostly for reach to the bars. I liked my V-Star when I bought it and drove it around Long Island New York, but a couple of year's later, I moved to Florida a few miles north of Daytona Beach, had a blast at Daytona Beach Bike Week, and kicking around on it locally. But the real test happened when I rode it along with the guy's on their big Harley's on more open roadway's. I was called, lol, pokey because my bike couldn't keep up with their's, but reason being was .... I was holding back a bit. It was then that I realized the V-Star had way more vibration than I ever experienced on any of my previous bike's, and so much turbulence, and it felt too light to handle wind's. After an hour on it, I felt as if I was beat up by wind's, the guy's recommended a windshield without me saying a thing. It's like they knew what I was going to experience, and wanted me to know, lol. I had my eye on a Harley Deluxe around 2012 just before finding out that my V-Star Classic was not the best to handle under specific situation's. When I sat in the saddle of the Deluxe and reached for the bar's, I laughed to myself and thought, why didn't I just buy a Harley as was suggested many time's over. Everything was right there, the seat was sooooo comfortable and I would not have needed to drop extra money to make it fit, shine, or move a little bit quicker. I didn't buy a Deluxe back then, and in hindsight, glad that I waited it out up until now. I like white motorcycle's been through a few different color's over the years, but I prefer white and now the 2020's are going to have a White Stone Washed Pearl going by the 2019 review's, the handling has improved immensely, and it seem's to be a ride with much less vibration. I put myself on the waiting list for a white 2020 Harley Davison Deluxe and was told that it should arrive by the end of the first week of October. Thank you for sharing your riding experience on that model.

Glad I could help out. Just bought a Harley electra glide ultra limited myself. Look forward to hearing more when you get this new bike. White paint with pinstriping and gloss is something Harley does better than everyone else out their. She's gonna be a beauty.

@@123JumpingJacks I watched it. I was curious if you bought the Deluxe, but the Glide seems to be what you need for the long haul 2 up. :). Again, congrats!

@@123JumpingJacks I hope so because I put my name on the wait list, sight unseen. I did sit on a 2019 though just to make sure the fit was about right.

    Do you recommend for beginners???

Depends on how reckless you are going to drive. If you are a typical beginner and want to accelerate at ludicrous speeds, and lean the bike over hard. No. I recommend a 500cc standard bike. If you are going to ride like you care about your life, and the lives of those around you. This bike is a dream. But definitely add crash bars in case you screw up and drop it. It's to pretty to be dropped.
