Planted in the middle of the dashboard of the Citroen Relay is a 7-inch, full colour touchscreen which allows you access a wide range of features and options.
As you’d expect, you’ve got access to DAB, FM and AM radio, as well as the option of using Bluetooth to pair your phone, but the connectivity doesn’t end there! Using the USB port on the centre console, you can connect your phone using Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or MirrorLink because this system has the lot.
The experience is quick, smooth and easy and allows you to access everything from music and podcasts to navigation and phone functions. You can control music using the stalk to the right of the steering wheel, but if you press the button on the end of indicator stalk, you can use Siri or Google Assistant voice controls; so if you want to set a new destination, change a playlist or even send a text message you don’t have to take your eyes off the road, or hands off the wheel.
You can add options to the system, such as a built in TomTom Traffic navigation system and Citroen’s Park Assist 180 reversing camera which automatically zooms into obstacles when you’re parking, but even if you don’t, the basic system has more than enough bells and whistles to keep you entertained.
