The blazer has become a family car,save 10k and get the equinox premier if that's what your using it for,I did.

I want an Equinox more and more everyday. Probably my next vehicle.

They shouldve brought back the two door blazer extreme.

I like the Blazers design more but the MPG is a deal breaker for me, would rather have the Equinox

Im at Spitzer Chevy in Amherst now which is even closer. Great deals right now.

This "blazer" design should have been the Equinox the blazer should have remained a body on frame or rear wheel bias to differentiate it from the Equinox, GM fell flat on this one, maybe they'll come to their senses, if not good thing there is competition.

Seeing these side by side gives me the impression that the Equinox is out BUT, but with a few cars being axed by Chevy, they can really strip that Equinox down bare bones and sell them for people who are looking for an entry midsize SUV. I would expect them to make improvements later on the Blazer to make it the upscale version. Great review btw

I own a 2019 Chevy Equinox LT and the back seats do recline slightly, the same button on the top of the seat 💺 that drops it, also has a small recline angle. If you pay attention in the video the rear passenger seat was sitting a little front compared to the one which he adjusted in the video showing there is no leaver in the bottom of the seat like the blazer. Something to think about. 😁 so they both recline, maybe the Blazer reclines even more then the Equinox, and it does have the bottom leaver which is nice 👍. I’m sure they are both great, if you are bigger then average, meaning overweight like me a little, you might have a problem with the smaller seats on the Equinox.

Does the Blazer front passenger fold flat like the Equinox does for 81 cu ft of cargo?

as far as cabin noise, are they bot pretty quiet or is there come road noise when you drive them?

I initially hated the new Blazer, but then I test drove one. It's now on my short-list for a new SUV. It's heads and shoulders above the Equinox which we currently own. It has a more powerful engine and smoother ride than the Equinox.

The blazer on a Colorado chassis to compete with 4runner would have been so much cooler

I wonder if the Balzer is creeping up towards traverse territory with its pricy options. In that case traverse is a better option.

Looks wonderful. I went with VW instead. Can’t believe what GM did with their employees. Also looks to be made outside of the US.

I have a 2020 1.5 equinox FW , and for 10thoussnd less dollars id say uts a better choice honestly who really noticies cabin noise and ride difference unless ur trying to do pro-con , for a 17y/o i drive this thing like a race car fast and reliable

They look almost identical and they're probably both built on the same frame.

Mid size vs compact. Much like the Edge vs Escape. Grand Cherokee vs Cherokee. Rogue vs Murano. I could really keep going here....

the eq is larger than the blaz.the old blaz optional 7 pasenger,but neather old or new were as wide as the eq.

It seems like GM put a photo of Santa Fe and dozens of Lexus, Nissan vehicles into the AI and asked for a Chevy version.

The Blazer looks good but they could've made it a 3rd row to distinguish it from the Equinox a bit more. The Traverse would not be threatened b/c it would still have more room.

The blazer was never a third row SUV and would ruin it imo. GM has the Acadia and traverse so making a third SUV that was never designed to have one wouldn't make much sense.

If you want a real sport SUV with a Camaro sleek style, then get the Blazer RS. If you don't want sport SUV, then get the E-Nox.

It’s still a soccer mom crossover, I’d rather get a station wagon

Really disappointed in this so called blazer, there's not enough of a size difference for chevy to justify marketing this as a step above the equinox, the traverse already has that covered to a much better extent. I understand the crossover is king, but there is a market for mid size suv's based on truck platforms that the blazer would have been perfect for, a body on frame mid sized suv capable of hauling 6-7 passangers like the 4runner would have made more sense. Not everyone with families wants to drive around town in a soccer mom mobile. GM could have based the blazer off the Colorado platform, used that new 2.7 turbocharged 4cyl in the Silverado as a base model, and put out a ZR2 model with the 3.6 V6, and Men of all ages would have loved it, soccer moms of America, not so much, but they already have their Equinox and Traverse's. This re launch of the blazer just doesn't make sense and is very disappointing.

there is a new Trailblazer out there also. It's just not for sale in the US. I would say they are going to kill off the Equinox and start selling Trailblazers in the near future. It's a little bigger than the Acadia but seems smaller than the Traverse. And the photos "I" have seen, they aren't too sporty...............kind of like the old Trailblazers, lol!

Soooooo many crossssssovers ohhhhh my god they are all just blahhhh now from Ford to Honda to Toyota to GM just to many. Dodge makes the Durango RS which is pretty sick but besides that

GM really did a good job engineering the Blazer. Too bad it’s assembled in Mexico. If it was made in the US or Southern Ontario it would really be rocking right now. I guess they’re pushing for those margins.

Everything's blending in these days! Needed to be more distinctive between the other SUV's out there! It's a Blazer for Pete's sake it's a legendary nameplate! Remember the awd turbo charged Typhoon now that was special!! Overall I'm pretty sure the Blazers gonna sell like hotcakes to the uninitiated which is a great thing for Chevrolet but we'll see??

Would have given you a thumbs up if you would have popped the hoods. Of course your target soccer mom market wouldn't care about that would they?

Both are going to be great rental cars .Would not get American car unless it's a mustang or camaro/vette

Actually the Blazer should be the new Equinox and the present Equinox should be dropped. The present Equinox is too small with too small of an engine.

I agree, the Equinox engine is way too small. I bought a 2019 back in December with the 1.5L four cylinder engine. My shitty 2014 Malibu had more under the hood.

I have a 2019 and the only hard plastic is and some of the bottom half parts all the top parts are more of a rubberized plastic nothings hard on it

Nice but where is American muscle v8 trailer blazer both vehicles should have been v8 full body on fram square body no 3rd row seats I like 2003 Chevy trail blazer better 2019 are its to small of a vehicle

It's not better at all, the old blazer has mo features compared to this and plus the new 3rd row trailblazer is coming.

This is my beef why make another similar car of its not gonna have a shock value! It has no performance i dont wanna hear shit about no damn v6 rs package! Chevy dropped the ball once again . It sucks because im a chevy guy and my friends are dodhe guys with 707 hp and chevy still giving us these gay mom cars ! Bring the ss back and give it zl1 styling with minimum 600 hp
