I rented this model after a car accident it’s the smoothest nicest feels like the safest car I’ve ever driven. Granted I’m not rich so I haven’t driven many models of cars trucks or suvs but man this car feels as safe as driving a Ford F-150 it’s smooth warning letting you know when someone’s com in general on the road rifht or left of you. Even the glass is thought about in depth at night time the beams of other cars driving towards you is super clear. If I had the money I would love to have such a safe reliable car and brand but to be honest I would give it to my mother in a heartbeat even though I wish I could have it. That’s how amazing this vechical is man the people who designed this thought of everything! If I ever make it and do well In life I’m getting one for myself and my mother!

Had the opportunity to drive this as my rental car while l was in CA few days ago. Actually it was given as free upgrade at the time of renting....Really comfortable to drive, the finishing inside was very luxurious. The sound system was great...l drove a Dodge also of a similar size can’t remember the model, the sound system on that was also great as well as the drive....Like the dash lights very nicely balance and the auto function when in the tunnel is handy..also got those sensor for car next to you lights up on the wing mirror....there was also a red light flash in front of you when you are braking late or too close to the car in front, if l remember it activates something on your seat....not sure how you call it......heated and airconditioned seat👌 my rental had the panoramic roof which we only found out two days prior to the return😅. So price would have been slightly higher l would have thought? I thought the fuel felt economical considering the size of the car or while the aircon was on....guess US is still cheaper per litre/gallon compare to UK pricing😩 The car l think help me drive better through the hustle and bustle of LA and considering that was the the first time driving in the US or better say the wrong side of the road😂. Haven’t had the chance to use most of the function or controls on the steering wheel as well as the dash as l was too busy paying attention with my driving only...for 4 days l had it, l thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and drive and to get us safe on most of the attractions the we wanted to go.

Same thing happened to me in June. The Chevy Malibu I rented got a check engine light after a day, so they upgraded me to XT5. Did over 1800 miles in it. Beautiful car to drive.

GM has to do something about that dated “bing bong” start up chime. A new and different sound for each Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac would be great!

5:37 figured out that it has wireless charging so just gotta put the phone in and starts charging

The Goofy Flapper things behind the Steering Wheel are truly annoying. It would be better if they fixed the Shift Lever so as to make Gear Changes using it

The only Seat in my XT5 that is Manual, is the Rear Seat

No. but there are easy to install Cables that go to the Hood Sensor that eliminate that very annoying Item, Keeps the Security and Remote Start Feature intact, and no Open Hood warnings. Improves the Driving Experience many Fold. Takes all of 5 minutes to install.

0-60 in 7.1 is not fast as hell. A f150 is faster then that . That's a decently quick but not fast vehicle. Actually a 2 door jeep Wrangler does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. So it's slower then a jeep. Even though that jeep is pretty quick

My V6 STS was quicker, with less HP, but it was also about 500 lbs lighter, even though it was a couple feet longer

Stupid placement for reverse light, first thing to break when someone bump it while trying to park!

The interior quality looks about the same as a Chevy traverse....

Auto stop Sux, so annoying & can't be shut off, hate driving this truck due to that 1 thing !!!

Can't turn off stop/start= I'm never gonna buy it or even recommend it to people I know.

Who cares? You can't adapt to change? In the next few years it's going to be standard on all cars. I've owned my XT5 for a few months now and I don't even pay attention to it now..

Imo it's one of the best cadillacs on the market. Maybe the escalade hybrid is better but for the price difference not even close to being worth it, unless you drive alot then the savings on gas might be.

I keep seeing the vehicle on a TV commercial and keep thinking to myself that is one ugly cheap looking vehicle!
