So what do you guys think of the new AMG digital dash? One cool feature I forgot to mention in this video is that when you change the dial styles from super sport to sport and classic the colour scheme changes on the command center screen to match. Only just noticed this today!

Very useful video. I am in the U.S. and have a fully loaded 2019 C43 AMG Coupe. The car doesn't have the "Design" choice in the menu. That has saved me hours searching the manual to find how to set the Supersport design...

Yeah I was a bit dissapointed by bmws version. Perhaps the M models will have better screens.

@@gavtv3155 Congrats on your new car! You have to press the car button then go into dynamic select. Then I think theres two you can go into. Engine data and vehicle data. Hope this helps! :)

Love it, especially the supersport and the ability to customize the sides. Only wish the little touch pads on the steering wheel were replaced with arrows

The Sclass is a much higher tier and more luxurious than the C43 which is the Cclass. I'd expect far better quality all around in the Sclass :)

@@ABAUTOAMG yes everything is high quality no plastic like in most Mercedes but the c43 is a nice one to how fast to 0 to 60 mph

Does it come with track pace? I saw in some other video, it can count 0-60mile which is awesome

Doese yours also have that blue light coming home function when you unlock the car ?

Ah do you mean on the headlights? Unfortunately not even with the top spec lights. Miss this from my c300 was a nice little feature.

I'll have a look into it. I'm going to make a video on the lights at some point cos they are brilliant. If you miss the blue welcome they do a really nice little dance when you turn them on which you can see from both inside and outside.

What year did the digital dash start on the c43. I found a 2019 c43 with the older dash not digital.

The 2019 (some late 2018) facelift. You can tell if it’s the facelift on the c43 because it will have quad circle exhaust pipes. It might be a facelift that’s a lower trim/spec. The digital dash is an optional extra although should be on most cars. So that one might be missing a lot of other extras too.

Hi, thanks for the videos, it’s really helpful...I got my c43 coupe 2 days ago, and absolutely love it... my question is, at 4:25 on the left side under the boost, it shows you hp and nm, mine is shows kw instead of hp...is there an option to change in the menu? I didn’t find it..thanks for your help

Hey! Thanks I'm glad the videos have been helpful. Congrats on your coupe! That's interesting I havent seen an option myself but I can take a look. Theres quite a few options hidden the the center console options I've found so it may be there. If not perhaps it's a regional thing? Where abouts are you based?

Thanks! This bar shows when the car uses kinetic energy to give some extra charge into the battery. Similar to how electric cars get a little bit of charge from braking Mercedes sends a bit of power into the cars battery.

Is the new UI using Google for navigation?

This uses mercedes command for navigation although you can use carplay/android auto for google maps but it does not display the map on the screen only the direction arrows etc

The supersport screen with the rev counter only works in the middle. You can do the rev counter and speedo each side in the classic and regular sport modes.

This came fitted from the factory from new in my car. I think It's possible to retrofit a similar system but It won't be exactly the same as factory.

Should I buy a 2020 for 47k without that digital dash?

Hey Paul, depends on if you prefer analog or digital. The digital dash was standard on most specs so if it’s missing the car might be missing other extras too. I personally would try to find a higher spec car myself since the screen is great and really helpful while driving.

Hey mate, no probs :) I think you can easily change this in the menu. It's in the main centre screen menus.

Can you change the map part to the middle like the bmw?

In this version (2019 CClass) you can't but I think you can in the newest versions with mbux.

How were you able to get the map to display on the right side? I don’t seem to have that as an option on my display. Is that only available on the multimedia package?

In the UK the Mercedes command is packaged with the digital screen so you always get the map. Do you have command navigation on the center screen? If you have it you can find it by scrolling up and down on the touch pad with the right side selected.

I only have the SD navigation so maybe that’s why it’s not able to be shown on the display.

Hi Yuzzura, that’s odd do you have the full Mercedes sat nav package on the centre command screen? You can only get the map from this.

This C43 does not but you can spec it so some will have it.

Hi, On mine you press the home key then you can select what to display on the left side. Then you can scroll up and down for even more options.

@@DJBeast_official Hi Viper, you should be able to access the tyre pressure on the center screen between the two analog dials by selecting it through the menu depending on if you have the facelift or prefacelift. Alot of the menus here can still be accessed without for full digital setup.

I don't think it would be possible because you would need to update the entire software in the car because it all links up with the main command which is a completely different system in the facelift. It's operated by the touchpad on the steering wheel also so you would probably need to swap that for the new one too. Will let you know if I hear anything though!

Ah I'm not sure mate sorry. There might be a way but from my experience these things tend to be very expensive to retrofit. Might be worth asking around on some forums though to see.

The Cla45? It's a great car but the interior is really poor quality and very dated. Sitting in a cla45 and a c43 cabin the c43 is in a different league. However the new cla45s is going to be great when it comes out next year/late 2019. It looks absolutely brilliant. I can see myself having a 2020-2021 cla45s as my next car if it drives as good as it looks like it does.

Unfortunately the current generation C43 does not come with trackpace, at least here in the UK. It was only included on the C63 models.
