This is the best review I’ve watched on the BMW 750GS I have seen so far and I have watched a ton of them. I’m in the market and this video explains a great deal on the workings of the bike and it is explained in a clear and concise way. It just made me want to go immediately out and buy one. Good job.

Same here. I love my 750 GS. It is a very versatile bike with no problems so far. One of the biggest advantages is, that you get all the Goodies from the Premium Class in the Middle Class.

Great review from an owner's perspective. So much more valuable than someone doing an hour's test ride. BMW are doing some really good deals on these in the UK and it's gone to the top of my list when I finish my training and get my full licence.

Just ordered a 2023 F750 GS premium Saturday, will be 2-3 months to build and get here in AZ, I love the BMW , had a F800st....put 20,000 miles on that with zero issues. they just have better features than other makes, Cruise control the Great bright screen dif ride modes! Test rode a Triumph 650 new with bags included, not as much power as this will have. f70 GS is made with the 850 motor, detuned, you get same torque , more money but worth it IMO

I agree, it also comes with factory 3 year warranty and road side assistance. That is worth 1k by itself to buy just the extended warranty for other bikes

You will be so happy with the bike. I also looked at the MadStad but price wise it didnt make sense. Puig actually has an upgraded version of my screen that is adjustable. I am seriously thinking about upgrading

Superb review. I passed my "A" test a few days ago, and learned on the 2022 version of this bike. I was leaning towards buying the same one (but the 2019 version due to my budget), and this has reinforced my opinion that this is the bike for me.

Thanks for an easy to follow review. I have the 21 performance model. And being my 1 st BMW it can get a little techie . Your lesson on suspension settings really helped me out. This bike is amazingly quick. Not perfect but wow what a quality bike.

That's one sick ass bike "boasy" we would say here in Jamaica. Not a fan of all the electronics on bikes but dang this has be changing my mind. That headlight too OUuuuu!!! bad ass and futuristic.

Thanks buddy, it is pretty handy to not be stuck riding a stiff rear or worse have it sag real bad when loaded down without getting out a spanner wrench

Having got the 2012 F800GS I'm edging now towards a new bike, riding mine weight wise is no issue, eh I'd be just as comfortable on a 1250GS but the pushing it about in and out of the garage etc I actually find it heavy! So I'm looking at going the Street Triple, (I don't go off road on it) BUT I'm on a couple of BMW forums and the amount of people saying I need to go 850 has me questioning whether or not to stick with the BMW. It's highly rated. They say MUCH better than my 8 yr old which is interesting. I'll be having a demo before any final decision that's for sure. Nice work Chappy!

honestly I bought the 750 because I had no interest in going off road. It has the same 850 motor but is tuned differently. What I like the most about the bike is the connectivity and being able to control music etc without taking hands of the bars. For the price there are not too many bikes that give you these options. @d zora hello and thanks for watching. I have had the bike on the highway and there were no vibrations from the bike. There is a steering dampener under the fairing that helps with that. I have also done this with a solo rider, a passenger and even passenger and full saddlebags. I would recommend getting a aftermarket windscreen if you will be doing a lot of highway riding, full wind on the chest and head for long periods can lead to fatigue.

Great review thanks. I have the same bike and absolutely love it. Like you, I bought it as an adventure 'styled' road bike, I don't go off-road. Today I changed out the stock tyres to Michelin Road 5's, massive difference. Check them out for added confidence in wet as well as dry. Best wishes.

It is a great bike, I was back and forth between this and the vstrom. 3 year warranty and included road side assistance from BMW was the tipping point for me.

I traded my CB500X in for this bike. Both are excellent but the F750GS is a different league! But also twice the price in the UK. Both fantastic bikes though - enjoy.

Wow Chappy this is going well. Great video! I sold my GS (and not so secretly regretting it haha). I still love my Triumph but wish I had been able to keep the Beemer!

I see you moved the satnav and got a bigger screen. That's what i didn't like about the 750 when i took it for a test ride. I was expecting BMW to fit a standard 1200/1250GS screen. Nice review.

Bmw fit small screens and hard seats then let you upgrade.

Great video. Very informative and detailed at that.

Spoke wheels are available from KKE Racing for $1450, and $1550 for gold, and fit the F750 GS. Really nice wheels. I'm getting the for my F750. I can go off-road and I like the 19/17 wheels of the F750 for road/trail.

That is a disappointment. After having the TFT I would not want to go back to a normal dash. I wonder if they were ordered specifically for that region or if they had regulations that did not allow it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.

Thanks for your review. Yup, I have one of these bad boys. Would I buy another? No, now that I have seen the new Triumph tiger 900. I got mine as a compromise. I need to tour with luggage. I liked the cruise, sat nav, quick shift, TFT. I also wanted to have full headset connectivity. Was his achieved? No. The quick shifter is not really effective. The sat nav is a faff. The wind screen is totally non effective. The TFT screen is nice but it's a nightmare to connect all of the Cardo, phone, TFT into a working, usable tool. It does handle well (but a bit top heavy) its frugal, has plenty of power and works well virtually anywhere. I live in the North east of Scotland and it is great for the twisties up here. I also hired one while on Gran Canaria and scooted about the mountains in really hot temperatures. I never got out of second and the third gear due to the hairpins but the bike performed brialliantly. The seat height is also crucial for me but at 5ft 7" I can almost flat foot it when I stop. I think it's a good workhorse with some all rounder capabilities and that's why I have one in my garage. But that new Tiger 900 is beginning to look like my next bike.

I also bought mine for the same reason, travel with luggage and a passenger. I am surprised to hear you cant get the connectivity to work reliably. I will say when it does have a hiccup and will not connect it can be a nightmare to figure it out. After so many rides we eventually figured out how to get it hooked up 99% of the time. Turning our sena on just before we power on the bike seems to achive this result. The BMW connectivity app keeps getting better, so I hope you will see better results on the satnav this season. I just bought a 2022, so far I love it. My only problem is that I’ve tried everything and I can’t get it to adjust the suspension mode for driver and passenger; I can get it to change the mode for rider. I’ve even resorted to the manual. 😆

Push once to bring up menu. Push to change ride type, hold to adjust preload. If you are looking to change to passenger you would push to open menu, hold till one helmet and bag shows, let go and hold again till two hemets show. This can not be done while moving, bike must be running but not in motion

Hi Ray, I am 6ft and I like the windscreen for the most part. Slower speeds I wish it was shorter and when the wife is on I wish it was a bit taller. I am actually thinking of getting the adjustable one or the electric adjustable mount system to remedy that. Thanks for watching!

Nice review. One question - I saw 61.8 mpg on the top of the TFT several times. Is that the type of gas mileage you normally get, or was that just one trip?

Hi Roger. I do usually get 60 - 63 mpg even with the wife on the bike with me. I should add that I get that milage while taking it easy and just cruising. Around town, riding aggressive, or when traveling fully weighted and a passenger it drops. I averaged about 54 mpg on our trip to Niagara Falls last October. Thanks for watching!

puig is very beautiful. I am 5.7 tall and should be well fixed. now I have the givi but I get straight turbulence in the helmet and I can't travel with an open visor. do you get air in your eyes?

Hi Daniel, I did not have any issues with heat or vibration. Even in the hot days the motor seemed cooler than what I was used to from my sportbike days. If you are feeling vibrations that are not normal I would recommend a trip to your local dealer to have a trained professional take a look, they may be able to fix the issue before it gets real expensive.

Nice video. Very informative. Thank you. I will get my new F750 next week by trading in my F850 adventure. How is the Puig touring windscreen I see at 5:58? Does it totally eliminate wind buffeting?

Hi chazzec thank you so much for stopping by and watching. The tank bag is the Oxford S20R Adventure. It is a big and roomy bag but is not waterproof. That being said I did travel for 4 hours in the rain and everything in the bag was dry. The moisture seeped through to the touch but it did not flood the interior. My only complaint is that to fill up you have to loosen the strap and slide the bag over to access the gas tank. There also is no way to prevent someone from unzipping it and walking away. I love the capacity but am researching other bags to see if I am going to get a different one. Most places have this bag including Amazon. I have a link in the description to Amazon.

I really do not have any experience to compare it to, but I will say that it doesn't seem to be very useful for my application.

Joey Carlotta Thanks for watching. I chose the 750 for the more road oriented smaller front tire. I do not have any wish to take this bike off road and purchased primarily as a entry level touring bike I guess you could say.

I LOVE the TFT! It really makes the bike. My only real gripe (and it's a big one!) Is the tank size. 4 gal is weak. How hard would it have been to make it 1 to 1.5 bigger?

I agree there, but most bikes I have had have the same size tank so I guess I'm used to it. I do get @ 63 mpg so I get a good range. Fully loaded with the wife on we are usually in the 55-58 range. Thanks for watching!

@@flashadney no 3 year warranty, BMW roadside assistance. I am a Kawasaki guy but there is really no comparison, technology is severely missing from the Kawi and Suzuki. Curious that your getting that much less mpg, do a lot of city driving? That will eat my milage up as well, usually stay to country roads

Hi Chao Yin, thanks for watching! The wife says the ride is very comfortable. We have the backrest pad on the top case, and the comfort seat which help a bit for longer rides. I hope you love the bike as much as I do!

I am well thanks, hope you are as well. Pandemic killed my riding year for many reasons, I put less than 600 miles on this year but I still love the bike. Plan to get a seat for it and an adjustable Puig windscreen but otherwise it is a great fun bike.

@@RideOnTwo Buy a higher seat, it is way better if you are a little taller. I am 5feet10 and it is a lot more relaxing to drive (better knee angle). I have Wunderlich, but so far I dont like it (except that it is higher than oem), I would go with Sargent enduro now for sure. Can you tell me does your Gs 750 have a weird clutch feeling at the end too? I cant get used to it. Thats the most annoying thing for me.

@@redbull4fly797 I am looking at the Seargant seats but have not pulled the trigger yet. I do not have an issue with the clutch, but I will say it was weird getting used to it and I stalled the bike a few times after I bought it. It seems to me the friction zone is much smaller than I was used to.
