I know exactly what you are feeling. This is the main reason why I do not drive it in comfort mode. The other reason is because I can’t hear the engine noise, which is a little ironic because I’m not a big engine noise guy. I also just like how it accelerates in sport mode and I like how it doesn’t feel like it’s “lagging” trying to get the most fuel economy possible like it does in comfort mode. Also when it’s in comfort mode and I try and pull out in front of traffic there is the delay or hesitation that you talked about and I do not like that. I have learned to drive the whole time in sport mode. I get good fuel economy because I normally use the adaptive cruise control while driving in town and that gives me the best fuel consumption I think.

Maintenance is covered by BMW for the first three years 36,000 miles. My first oil change at 40,000 miles cost $170. They also wanted to charge $175 for engine air filter and cabin air filter each. Then they wanted to charge $200 for a “vehicle inspection.” That’s when they hook up the computer and do a “wellness check” is similar to “when you go to see the doctor.” I didn’t buy anything other than the oil change I’m gonna do a little bit of research. Next time I buy a BMW I’m going to pre buy maintenance so I don’t have to worry about the costs as they come. I love my car. So the only thing I regret is not purchasing the maintenance package up front.

@@ggcools i recommend buying an obd2 scanner will end up saving you a lot of money in the long run, the best budget one is the “blue driver scan tool”. if a check engine light every turns on it will tell you the cause of it and what parts you need to fix it and with that you can already have everything ready for when you go to a mechanic also so they don’t try to upsell you on things
Can you use Apple CarPlay wired? Or wireless only?

I think that it uses the hardwire connection when connected to the USB. I haven’t tried because I don’t want to have to plug my phone in every time I get in. I like the seemless connection with the iDrive. I will have to try it and let you know.

do you feel like this car is unreliable or have you had no issues with it. I’m looking at one to purchase soon and just wanted to know before i make a final decision.

I have 60k miles on it now. I have only had maintenance, a sunroof adjustment, and a recall for something to do with the grill flaps. I have not had any issues with anything else. I would say buy it based on my experience.

@@ggcoolsI found one on the marketplace with 100k miles for 20k, are these motors built to last? Should I expect it to be reliable assuming it’s had all oil changes and maintenance on time?

Good question. I sold it to my son, and I think it's at about 70k miles on it now with no issues.

@@ggcools ok because I’ve heard bad things about the previous years 330i motors with timing chains giving out around 60k but from what I’ve heard they improved on the newer year ones

Should I buy a used one that has 62k miles ? It’s only 25k

I would. I have 60,000 miles on my car and I love it. I am not exactly sure on pricing but that sounds like a good price. I use my vehicle to drive in the snow with snow tires and it drives awesome. And of course is lots of fun to drive on regular roads.
Do you also get the digital card key? Can you also remote start or door lock unlock with Bmw connected app?

Yes. I do have the digital key. I haven’t used it. I need to pull it out and use it. I do have that option with the app but I haven’t used it.

The remote start works with your key (3 quick presses) to start and another 3 quick presses to cancel. When using BMW connected app after you register, you can unlock/lock doors and remote start with the app. Saves wonders to pre-condition the car in the summer and winter months from within office or home.
