@@BlueflagAlpha Yeah, it's one of those situations where he'd benefit from being a bit slower - getting lapped would save his race. Letting LEC through and then crossing the line doesn't seem feasible in this case as the car seemingly had no power, it was just rolling.

Hard to choose a standout this GP. Kvyat, Albon, Norris and Leclerc with outstanding drives. Heartbreaking for Norris though.

ABC DEF actully for me he is because, he starts from the 17 Position and gained the 5th, thanks to Norris but, he overtaked Perez who was 10 Seconds ahead of him. He did really really well for his first time Red bull Race!

@@oj5190 He was not interested in staying at Red Bull. Mercedes or Ferrari don't want him as of now and Renault was a very strong 4th in the championship. Just like McLaren is this year. He either hopes Renault can be competitive 2021 or he will aim for a better seat. He also got a fat fucking salary at Renault It was not a stupid move you are just uninformed

He spent first half of the race behind a long traffic, since Magnussen was defending hard against Perez, there's almost under 1 second gap between every car from Perez to Albon. After Magnussen was overtaken and cars started to pit, he overtook them one by one finished the race 5th (thanks to Norris). Nobody could get a better result than this with these conditions, like no safety car at all etc.

To be honest, I wasn't REALLY impressed with his pace. But - it was his first race in RB, most important thing - he showed he is gonna go for it, when the window appears open. And that's what Gasly couldn't get on with. So, good for Albon, he has 'attachments' in place, now it's just a matter of getting on with new tools to get to the top

Congratulations, Charles, you have done an excellent job, keep up the good work, there are many more wins to come for you, your speed is unbeatable

We absolutely need race like that in 2020

I was there. For both the F3 and the F1 there was a minute of silence. You saw his mum and brother on the track and pretty much all of the people had the respect to stand up, take off hats and shut up. Very impressive and an experience I will never forget.
