Very good review of the Motorcycle

The front brake rotor was 320 mm even on the older models not 310 mm. Forks as someone already pointed out are from Endurance not WP that KTM uses. And the power is up by 5 bhp from 35 to 40bhp.

endurance and WP are the same .On ktm fork check out near the axle mounts its ays Endurance . KTM and Bajaj have branded it WP. Actuall WP forks cost well over a lakh for the starting model.

madrummer666 you are correct bro.i thought endurance is different from wp.as i checked the images on the link there was an endurance brand engraved at the WP suspension.so it means that they have the same quality.

An ecu update from bajaj has solved this problem. The entire display on the secondary meter will shift up to the main speedometer

What's your opinion regarding the rear brake, as lot of them are facing problems, how long have you used this bike.

Very nice and impressive review. Is it possible to compare with REHimalayan at this stage of new Lauch - Referring the riding comfort and performance, not comparing specs, but all terrain performance, city roads, bumpy roads, highway, or remote roads.

I used to be a big fan of you and motorcycling back in 2016-2017, I used to go by the name mbr or something on youtube. I am back at it again!great review just as I remember you used to do!. Anyway I hope you do include headlight testing too, a short night footage of headlights would be highly welcomed as they are the most ignored yet so important aspects of motorcycles. Lastly to be honest, dominar headlights are bright but very very narrow. But the new green body means you can "retrofit" kawasaki z250 headlights with powerful projectors and mount the whole setup to make a killer dominar kawasaki hybrid! The kawasaki headlights are pretty stylish too and have an unique look.

Its around 35- 40 celcius here, we keep drinking water but sweating doesn't stop, we shot this one from 5 am to 11:30 am and just returned home.

Interceptor 650 or dominar 400 ??? Worth spending more on int or save for my car???

Hi Rahul, I am wondering, both the Dominar 2019 and RE 650s can push above 150 km/hr. I have two questions based on your ride experience with them. 1) Which one is the best when it comes to handling and has lesser vibrations? 2) Which one has the better comfort for rider as well as a pillion (heating, suspension and seat)?

The top speed pull was crazy and terrifying. Loved it. Fucking hammered that gas.

I saw that backlight is blinking like hazard switch. Is it ?

While the top speed test..you were still on 5th gear I think🤔

Can very easily do 120 km/h cruising. I think 100 comes around 5.5K RPM.

130 is a cruising speed not a top speed if it was then you are doing 90-100 with weight 80 and decrease as you add more thing's up , having a high top speed is a better advantage as you get good cruising speed Without having to twist more just to stay on that

Superb no nonsense review as usual. Would this be a worthy upgrade from Royal Enfield classic 350? I am someone who would like to cruise comfortably upto 120km max. quite obvious, ktm duke 390 goes above 3 lakhs now, this one is around 80k lesser priced bike, and has only 3 bhp less, with all the goodies you want. so dominar is pure vfm, only problem is bajaj service centres dont have any idea about this bike service.

Of course you can! This is value for money and one of the best in it's segment! You can use it as a commuter bike as well as a touring bike! Go for it!

Thank you for the fantastic review. Domiar 2019 has many worthy upgrades. There are lesser vibrations and more power. I am exploring to buy a bike approx under 3 lakh. Priorities - comfortable pillion & driver seat, and low maintenance. Which bike would you like to suggest? I am not very experienced in these kinds of bikes, so don't know a lot about them. Till now I have two choices in my consideration set - Dominar 2019, TVS RR 310. Is there a new version of RR 310 coming out this year ?

I was given the wrong information but the braking feel has improved not sure why but the bike is lot more stable under braking and stops in a more surefooted way.

If not focusing on long tours then Duke 250 is better, lighter, easier to drive and more mileage. However, for highway performance Dominar is better.

Not sure since I don't own the bike. But yes, the single cylinders have smoothing out in higher RPMS. Whether that vibration will go away after a while is hard to say. However, if you wear gloves like me you won't feel much vibration.

Thnx for this nice detailed review with a fresh flavour. But, its not being BS6 compliant, I believe, is a major drawback, especially when strict norm is going to be implemented within a year. People purchasing this bike now will find it backdated soon. Though I am not technologically sound, I expect BS6 bikes to be more refined than their BS4 counterparts. Isn't it better to hold back the decision to purchase this until the more advanced version arrives soon?

Should I stretch my budget to get Duke 390 or is this good enough to save 80-90k inr. I didn't test ride dominar 2019 but i did find Duke 390 performance and handling sufficient. Oh, and I have just 1 year or so to ride a bike. (Buying for Ladakh trip this summer). So the question is : Is it worth spending 90 k more on Duke 390 when you are gonna ride it for 1 -1.5 years ? Especially if it's all of your savings :p
