The can opener, bottle opener and spoon combo is called a "Church Key" by Australian Forces😉

The Brass Spoon / Opener is called a FRED = Field Ration Eating Device ................ or Effing Ridiculous Eating Device. The Spoon is highly prized by other armed forces & I remember sending a batch other to a friend in the USA for his mates.

Lucky Aussie soldiers, so well fed with so much food for only 24 hours.

You could’ve mixed some of the condensed milk in with the muesli and water.

Glad to see he's doing another MRE and I need to count how many times I've seen that shirt he's wearing in his past videos

Vegemite is the iconic Aussie name your looking for in regards to the yeast extract.

As usual he rushes through these like his house is on 🔥. But I still enjoy them. The condensed milk is usually mixed in with the muesli. Really miss his dogs.

Yeast extract is Vegemite, very nice sparingly on buttered toast. Excellent source of B1, B2, B3 & B9.

The yeast stuff is Vegemite. Try it on bread or toast mixed with lots of butter

Vegemite/yeast extract is really salty and the best way is to have it is by buttering bread and put a little bit vegemite on it and it’s really nice
