just got the 2019 A6. It drives like a dream. I know some people dont care for the new infotainment but I personally really like it. Although if you have owned an Audi in the past and you liked their previous MMI there will be a learning curve. The A6 has the best of all worlds. Its sporty, luxurious and practical. I can fit my daughter's stroller, pack and play and still have space in the trunk. passengers have lots of room. All in all love my A6!

I own a 2017 Audi A6 Quattro supercharged V6 Competition , and love it. Its so capable in snow and something you need to experience. As I only have 9000 kms on it ( not a misprint), I can’t comment on its reliability just yet. I plan on keeping it for 4 yrs, and I have a feeling that I will be trading it in on another one.🇨🇦

Looks so much cooler than the newer Mercedes' awkward design language. Especially the rear of the new CLS, like what the hell is that?

Not a fan of the new A7. Given it has the same power train, I went with the A6. If hatchback and sportiness a big consideration, I would go with the S7.

I think the old Quattro system is legendary and can be tuned to be rear-wheel drive bias. Making it more sporty yet still practical.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I think the exterior of the A7 is horrendous looking compared to the A6. And someone please tell Audi to stop with the imitation exhaust ports in the rear bumper covers.

I wouldn't say horrendous but the A6 is truly better looking. It's one of the few new Audis which still maintain the Audi DNA and style. In comparaison, the Q2, Q3, A1 and even Q8 are ugly as sin

All the 'sportbacks' are ugly in my opinion. I appreciate the sedans, the TT and the previous Gen Q5. I think the new lineup of SUVs can't hold a candle to the old ones.

The rear of the A7 is ugly. The A6 is beautiful, A8 is a complete failure. But somehow I really like the Q8. I’ve seen it IRL before and it just looks stunning

Totally agree, the sportbacks, just like BMW's "GT", look pretty ugly from the side and back, they got that droopy drawer kinda look, it's fat, it's heavy, it's droopy: it's ugly. Too bad when the sedan looks so great.

Never liked the A7's aesthetics, but I wouldn't call it horrendous. I agree though, the A6 is better looking. Same with the C7.

Except for the TT and A3, Audi mounts their engines longitudinally, not transversely. @11:20 They are front heavy because the majority, if not all, of the engine block is ahead of the front axles to accommodate the quattro systems.

A6 Avant best looking of all, but we don't get the best looking cars here in US.

Paul Davidson chances are if you can afford this car brand new, you'll just upgrade to the new model year before the warranty runs out, Via lease or finance. If you're buying the car used and can't afford to fix/maintain it, you need to do some self evaluation. Yikes.

@@Calimustang86 lots of broke teen/early 20s boys buy has been BMWs to try to impress people when they don't have two pennies to rub together. They do it with Audi as well but to a lesser extent. Think about it. They're mostly leased brand new because they aren't reliable, and those off lease cars have to go somewhere.

when you were talking about electric doors you missed the exterior door handles are also electric and not mechanical anymore, when you pull the handle you can see there is a delay to when the door opens, if you pull it super fast the door won't open

You’ve made this mistake twice, with the Q7 and the Atlas, two completely different cars and now this one. Apart from the A3 and Q3, Audi uses longitudinal engines mounted on a All Wheel Drive/Rear wheel bias chasis when Quattro is fitted.

Only bad comment, it feels heavy in corners. This must be the best car in the world... Just loved how out of all the driving modes you just go for dynamic, in an A7... lol

I think the new A7 doesn't look as good as the prior version. It looks too heavy in the rear and too much like a hatchback. The A5 Sport looks much better than the A7 now. OTOH, the new A6 looks great with the curves and better than the last version.

Awesome review Audi has gone above and beyond on these new models .

@10:06 Roman says, the tire size is 225/40-20 when its actually 255/40-20: also Audi engines for the most part; are longitude mounted. Like Subaru, the Audi AWD differential are housed with transmission thus pushes the engine forward over the wheels; however like the Porsche, the former uses boxer engine with a lower center gravity then Vs and Inlines.

Good review! Big Sur is beautiful. The previous A7 looked so much better! They seemed to have toned down the rear design. All those screens scare me!

You're right! Only MQB cars are transverse. And... They also have a different Quattro system. Another inaccurate part of this video

Audi should sue each time a reviewer or influencer mis-associates an MLB platform vehicle with an MQB Volkswagen one. They are mechanically on 2 completely different levels and come from 2 very different cars/manufactures.

Jeff Goss my b9.5 s5 and my a4 b9 are both 40/60 But this new ultra Quattro is the reason I didn’t buy the new a4 allroad I like traditional Quattro and it’s jumpiness. But have to admit if it’s a daily driver the new ultra probably smooth and seamless.

I love audi but I don't know how I feel about the new A6 and A7. They are extremely gorgeous with interior never disappoints. The thing that pisses me off the most is the fake exhausts like why do you do that what are you trying to do??? The new A6 has a better looking exterior than the A7. I still prefer the previous A6 and A7 over the 2019 ones thats just my two cents.

@@mostly_normal_man I don't consider myself an actual car enthusiast either but I do love Audi and cars. So apparently the top A models such as A6,A7, and A8 all have this in common. The only reasoning I've heard is because most people who actually buy those model cars are older and they don't want the car to be loud. It does effect slightly with the fake exhaust tips in the back and if you look under the car the actual exhaust is pointing downwards. Although it doesn't really affect noise and doesn't matter where the smoke comes from however.. Let's say you like the 2019 version how are going to go about putting an exhaust or modifying it if you wish? The fake exhaust tips in the back is used for styling but are going to look stupid if you want to put an actual exhaust. If you look at the 2017 versions it's an actual stock exhaust and not loud either. Again I could be wrong about the reasoning on why it's like that but compare the two model years 2019 and 2017 with the exhaust

Sorry I never by a vehicle based on my friends or family rear seat comfort as long as the kids can fit let's go. But the lag from all these new car electronically controlled throttle is ridiculous I literally heard the pedal hit the floor then almost a full second later the car responded.

Yeah, man, hitting the pedal to the floor and not hearing anything is plain wrong and I refuse to have something like this as my own. I much prefer old classic, well crappy cars, but hey, when I tell them to drive they drive.

I have a 2019 A6 that is my favorite car to drive of all time. I find TFL's videos very helpful. I personally agree that the A7 is the better looking car (very subjective) but the A6 is a better value, and from the driver's perspective you really can't tell the difference. I have had Jaguar XJ8, BMW 5 series, Q5 Hybrid and older Audi A6 and I really like this car the best. I am an electrical engineer and I think Audi engineers did an outstanding job. I really love that I can consistently get over 500 miles on a tank (I have even run 600 on a trip), while having better power, handling and comfort than my 2004 all aluminum Jag gave me when new. Technology really has made a huge difference. I LOVE the interior layout in this car and the screens are fantastic - I have had the car two months, have already driven 5,000 miles and it just keeps getting better. It is a beautifully crafted car that I appreciate more, the more I drive it.

This is coming from an Audi fan. I’ve had 3. But this new design doesn’t settle well with me. It’s also sad that these cars are $60k plus and they don’t even come with LED lights as standard. People might hate Mercedes but I think they are at the top of the game. This is why I switched to Mercedes. The interior on Mercedes and the exteriors are top quality. I do have to say the A6/A7/A8/Q8 interiors are gorgeous on the eyes but I couldn’t stand all the finger prints scattered all over the screen.

T I got the E400. I’m really happy with it. One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I was thinking of getting the GLE450 after the lease is done but I’m not sure... maybe I’ll go back to Audi. Are you getting the Audi?

I love the new A6 🤩 always have! Audi is the underrated german cousin who was always picked on in high school, went to college and now no one recognizes him at the reunion! Now the Beamer and Benz classmates want to be friends... no sir, back then you didnt want me now I'm hot you're all on me!

Jeff Goss yes they were,they system was more mechanical.Honda was also the first to implement variable valve timing (VTEC) of the modern era.Alfa Romeo did it in small numbers in the early 70’s.

There are too many screens. It has nothing to do with whether I or someone else knows how to use a smart phone. These screens force a driver to look down just to change the temperature. This would only work well while driving if Audi offers the best audio response system. Fewer switchgear and touchpad type controls are what most companies are moving toward.

Alec Empire well Audi typically depreciates like a rock. That said I've over 13 years on one now. But lots of maintenance costs.

Why anyone would choose the A7 over the A6 is beyond me. I've had an S6 Avant for three years now and it's the best car I've ever owned. I'll be keeping it for a while.

BMW definetly. It has as much tech but better quality such as hand stiched leather. It also has a dashboard instead of taped screens.

0-60 was 6.2. A6 better looking.

I timed it at 6.13, however, there is the slight delay in the start and stop due to the fact I’m manually timing it I would of like the 0-60 time using the paddle shifters as it is a bit quicker that way when I try it in mine..🇨🇦
