Great stuff brother...!! Enjoy your content sir. I'm been holding back on tuning my 5th Gen due to the vulnerable CP4 pump setup, even though mine has the latest updated CP4 version. But that EZ Link definitely looks EZ 😁. I noticed you truck has/had a left front TPM sensor warning just as mine does. Mine popped up suddenly, thought I had a flat but tire is full. Guess it will make its first trip to the dealer. 😒

So did you have to purchase the tuning package with the EzLynk, or does it come with some preinstalled?

I bought a 2020 ram 2500 night edition fully loaded about 3 months ago. Let just say this truck has everything and full luxury . Best sound system out of any vehicle and just love driving being my first diesel . But it has been in the shop for 2 of the 3 months due to having to replace the transmission. Went in since the check engine light P0740 came on so I figured should be something basic but NO. They are replacing the whole transmission and apparently they are back ordered. They are taking care of me from both the dealer and FCA but this was a 80k truck that I plan on keeping for a few hundred K . I don't want to delete or modify and lose my 100K warranty but after some research all I keep thinking about is the damn cp4 pump. Im not worried about the trans as I know the dealer will take care of that but this cp4 pump can be a disaster . I just hope its not as bad as the forums make it out to be. It seems all the people talking about it but not many have had it happen. anyway just a little vent for the day. Great video man!

They are doing a current recall on the pump. Call your local dealer. I got mine done at the beginning of July. CP3 2020 RAM 3500

I just had my CP4 pump changed on my 2020 Ram about a year ago. They did the recall. Seems to be working fine. The CP4 was loud. The new CP3 is quieter.

That phone mount looks a lot like my bullet point mount I got on my 19 big horn lone star mega cab 3500 ho Cummins with Aisin transmission.

I haven't done a delete yet becuase my 2019 cummins still has warranty. I schedule a cp3 conversion per recall at dealer this wk and i got a feeling they well reflash pcm to newest tune and I've been hearing it locks out any future tuning. Is this tuner still able to tune newest oem reflash?

Having problems have not got ez lynk to connect to phone have 2020 Ram 2500 with unlock cable. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it get rid of the factory torque management crap

I’ll be honest the mount you used is awesome I use the one with the ez link it’s ok but it falls off every now and then it losses suction BTW i love the truck man

Correct, the tune stays written to the ECU.

I have never dealt with a delete ram and warranty but I have experience with other manufacturers and tunes I’ve done. They will do anything they can to blame the tune/aftermarket work. Anything to get out of doing free warranty work.

If I am about to download ez lynk and my vin is correct but says duramax tuner inc. should that be a stopping point I’m assuming it should say Cummins ??

Have y'all found some reliable LED replacement bulbs? Our local aftermarket shop said that ram does not support them very well 🤷🏼‍♂️. Got a 2019 bighorn.

I believe you have to go back to stock when switch Tuner devices..

Very informative. Did you mention that you could unlock up to 200 hp with this tuner? I assume that they will have one or bring one to market for the RAM TRX. I awaiting my TRX to arrive. Thanks for the video. Stay safe.

@@BEASTProjects dpf/egr problems in the future. These emission tunes are wayyyy harder on the dpf/egr filters. Since this video is older, hows the truck running? How much more do you regen and how much more def do you use? You will definitely burn way more fuel
