2018 YZ250F Test Ride

Today I rode not one but TWO YZ250fs!
One was a 2018 which belonged to @Moto_Mills
The other one done by which was a 2021 and had a softer map@Moto_Mullarkey
I was a little squirrely on both bikes, but had never ridden a sand track and was not in the slightest bit comfortable, not even on MY bike let alone two different ones so I will have to apologize to Taylor and Alysse for the goon riding.
I'm not a huge fan of how big the bikes were given that I'm super short, but I will say it does make gripping the bike easier in certain situations. I prefer skinny bikes, however I LOVED the power delivery. It got up no matter what gear I was in and the gears lasted much longer than on my KX, meaning I didn't have to shift as much. It honestly felt like I was on a 350.
Beautiful bike, and if definitely excels in the BARK department.

Dude that was awesome..i recently had the chance to ride the 2017 yz 450..definitely a beast..but too fat in the shrouds for me....nice riding btw.👍😁🔥

Dude I’m editing my video to post by this weekend but , you use a mic with your GoPro right ? , I got a mic for my GoPro but when u plug it in it doesn’t come out the mic it’s the GoPro mic that records the sound still

You need a type c to microphone adapter. It's sold on go pros website for 50$

Try a 350...or a 250 2 smoker...I actually think a 2 stroke would be perfect for how you ride.

I agree! I blip the throttle a lot and that's okay on a two-stroke because that momentum doesn't get canceled with engine braking when you let off the throttle. I'm posting a 250 2 stroke test ride video this week and I think it's clear to say that I enjoy two strokes more after watching the footage😂 😂

@@mxoudi They have the same sort of power curve as a 250f, just it makes 8-10hp more everywhere. And doesn’t have the monstrous torque right from idle that the 450 bikes have.

@@joshnc101 that 450 torque it just flat out irritating 😂 😂. That sounds like a much better middle ground. My 250 feels too slow at the level that I'm at. I feel like I have to milk every ounce of power it has to go anywhere lol
