One person complained about the screws in the dash. I like that, you can get in the dash much easier.

Outside looks great but the inside looks like my grandpa's Buick !! Time to get some younger engineers to upgrade the look of the inside or maybe just walk over to the Volvo display and get some idea's from that work of art !!!

ronnieam33 no, I think that dash looks fine. I’d take this dash over the Volvo. Classic gauges is all any driver needs, besides western star is trying to mix the old with the new and this truck came out really well! They gave it new technology with the classic style, pure American.

Lol Volvo is so cheap though. This has much less to go wrong. It's real wood and not plastic. Everything is easy access which means best for owner.

Панель - в любое тюнинг-ателье под карбон обклеить (имхо будет лучше всего). Пара сотен - максимум. Мне она тоже советскую кухню напоминает. Спальник - да, но - 82", однако. Размер решает.

The front lights, grill, bumper look better than any other truck, imo but the rest of it especially its interior is not old school but outdated.

Very tired men usually take a look at interior. It must be quiet, spacious, durable, convenient.

Nice truck only two things I do not like that's that air shit on the back at the tires and that its brocken (automatic) not a fan of that

Basic, crude interior design with screws showing on dashboard. Incredible in this day and age. They need to take a look at Scania interiors to get a few ideas how to do a 21st C interior in a truck. And to top it off..a steering wheel directly out of Mercedes' European Actros range.

Because it's the same reason why automakers went to all automatic. No one wants to drive manual. You don't get any better MPG or speed with Manual

They mainly used automatic trans, to get more females to drive... Another thing this new generation of the double clutching steering wheel holders, are burning up the clutches, so the fleets are tired of replacing clutches and trans, so they went to the automatics...

Lol star had that before Volvo and the quality is so much better. I had a Volvo and the star is so much better.

This truck is weak as fuck, the interior design is horrible and in no way modern, but the biggest problem is the things between the drive tires wtf it makes it nearly impossible to chain up.

Western star is garbage I know because I drove one for a year
