It's the ZF DQ 250 twin clutch transmission. My GTI will arrive in June but I already have years of experience with the dry clutch variant of that gearbox in my current car.. So yes, there are situations when the DSG takes a slight moment to select the correct gear.. but it's not really worth mentioning.. in a test drive, ok. Everybody is looking for possible flaws, but in normal day to day traffic that effect is hardly noticeable. It depends on the current status of the internal gyro sensors and the throttle... drive downwards and don't push down the throttle too hard and the DSG has to guess what you want next.. Car goes a bit faster because it is driving in a downward angle.. but you don't push the throttle so what do you want ? Go faster next, which would be indicated by the increased speed going downward.. or stay at that speed because you don't push the throttle down ? Tough question... DSG is a pretty reliable system but it doesn't have a clairvoyant mode... you will not really notice these reluctant gear changes in everyday traffic.

Als ik toch mag kiezen zou ik eerder kiezen voor een Golf R owv vierwielaandrijving :) Bij de GTI's is de Polo wel een pittige auto.

I would think it's ridiculous because the factory has that at 6,7 seconds... and that is realistic in sports mode with launch control system active... there are dozens of vids here clearly showing - that claim is not exaggerated.

This Polo was very fun to drive. It felt like a genuine GTI, very sporty to drive and great sound. The Active Info Display looked stunning.

Rafa Da Silva 4 motion is pretty heavy especially on a small car like the polo. I'd rather have a performance with a true differential then an r with 4 motion (also you can see a golf gti performance is already faster on the track then the golf R and even this little monster here can keep track on the r if the corners are plenty)
