I think it would look a lot cleaner if there was an alternative trim piece that didn’t have the gear indicators on it. Having both of them seems a little extra. It does look very appealing though. That’s my only gripe

I just fitted mine, piss easy but forewarning to anyone who wants it. The tolerances when you shift from park to reverse have changed and it grabs in the shifter mechanism, you can hear the click when you move it to R. It's a bit annoying.

Is it completely plastic ?

Yep!

I’m trying to cut the metal ring that holds the original shifter down. I don’t know if it’s because I’m weak but it’s not coming off. The metal just keeps bending in every time I try cutting it.

Lights not working after plugging everything, not Even if i put back the connector on the original place. Any thoughts?

Yes if you have D/S toggle (shift down for S and down again for D)

Anyone found a good looking one? 🤔 Me personally its looks worse than stock

Installed mine and I can’t press the button in to take it out of park. What did I do wrong?

Did you happened to accidentally pull the button when it was not installed? I’ve heard this can lock the mechanism for good.

Probably when fishing everything through the hole and locking it all together I’m sure it got pressed at some point

Where do you plug it into, does it loop into an existing wire system, or is there another block connector ?

@DSG Paddles so I've got everything in place. Lights and all work. But I can't shift the car out of park because the shift knob is locked in. Any tips on getting it unstuck? I've tried pulling on the button and it won't release.

@@wandykulik Hi - the plastic rod that is inside the shifter serves as a tool for unlocking the button. You push it in to the end, then pull out and the button will release.

Where does he plug the wires in lol he just skips over that lmao
