I enjoy seeing this channel evolve. The first video of yours I watched was of the 3rd gen 4Runner, so it feels familiar. Keep making great content.

Glad you're still liking it man! The 4Runners are always popular, but I have to admit I've always been third-gen biased.

@@atomicautomobile8537 My friend had a green third gen in high school. As much as I am a GM fan, I will admit that 4Runners are extremely well built. My friend's 4Runner had over 300,000 miles on it but still took the abuse of his terrible driving. He crashed it 3 times within a month and the only damage it ever got was to the bumper and one of the headlights. Very robust vehicles.

I was brought here by the review of the 3rd gen 4Runner review. Awesome reviews! Great narrator voice. Keep of the good work. I have a 2017 GX460.

Great to see a new video from you! Hope you are doing well. Being a fan for a while. Keep up the good work and nice review! I have wanted to buy one of these for some time now, but they aren't available in my country. Later I would totally want to import a 4Runner from the US in a few years.

Greetings from the US! Luckily there is no 4Runner shortage here, I'm sure we can spare one for ya ;)

Nice job Jack! I think you nailed the summation of the 5th gen 4Runner. A shock upgrade is definitely on my short list :-) Keep the reviews coming! Cheers!

Thanks for Video, Get you some KO2's bro, you want low end grunt, get a Sequoia 5.7 is a beast!!! My wife took over my 2015 SR5(4x4) 4Runner W/3rd row, 69k trouble free miles after I upgraded to a 2017 SR5(4x4) Sequoia. I had just paid off my 4runner, mama said thats my car go get you something else, so I traded in her 2015 Honda Accord and got a Sequoia, put some BFG KO2's and a badass roofrack, now I have a WAR WAGON.

The exterior styling of the 5thgen isn't bad, but I prefer the more subdued styling of the early 5thgeb as opposed to the current ones. I'd be more interested in them overall if they'd build these things a bit more like the 3rdgen. Modern vehicles all feel like I'm sitting in a bathtub with interior dimensions meant to fit me to the interior, rather than fit the interior to me. It's a problem I find with all modern vehicles, not just this one... it just happens to be the primary factor which keeps me happily buying 90s era vehicles. That, and the overall lack of the infotainment junk that manufacturers are pouring into their vehicles. I don't want my vehicle to feel outdated in a few years in terms of technology; it's primary purpose is transportation and not entertainment. I don't want to feel like I'm driving the technological equivalent of an iPhone 3 in a couple of years and Im.afraid that's how many of the current era's vehicles will feel in the used market in 5-10 years.
