If you think about logically, then you will see that the tragedy of Anoop (Tovino) at the end doesn't make any sense. So I imagine my own happy ending where Anoop (Tovino) and Manju (Tanvi Ram) are married and they look for a bright future despite having gone through the horrors of 2018 flood.

@@ajiunnikrishnan225 I myself don't agree with the last part of the film since it totally contradicts with what happened before in the film. The ending didn't make correct sense. Kunchacko's character is relieved that his family is safe and they are happy together in the end. Polish tourists are happy and they have a happy ending with Aju Varghese's character and then the tragedy is revealed at the very end. If Tovino's character is dead, then all of these characters would have been shattered by the end and the polish tourists would have left Kerala in a shattered state. The tragedies do happen. But here, the tragedy at the end of the film feels forced and doesn't make correct sense to me. So the ending for the characters (played by Tovino and Tanvi Ram) should have ended happily. Another thing I want to point out is no one in the right mind would let Tovino’s character go all alone in the boat especially during night time to get people. On the top of that, they all know that he is going to get married soon. His soon to be wife (played by Tanvi Ram) would never let him go alone. After all, it is too dangerous. So there will be at least one or two people (capable of swimming) accompanying him just for the sake of safety. The screenwriter sent Tovino’s character all alone just so that the tragedy can happen. So I imagine my own happy ending where Anoop (Tovino) and Manju (Tanvi Ram) are married and they look for a bright future despite having gone through the horrors of 2018 flood.
