It’s interesting how high your launch control can go with the RPMs. With the 6.4L Hemi and launch control the max rpm maxes out just below 3000 rpm and since the torque comes on basically IMMEDIATELY you’re melting tires no matter what rpm you use.

It doesn't matter because this car isn't about 0-60 stats if that is what you're chasing this is the wrong car. If you wanna help it out a ton throw on some slicks and 456 gears it'll get much better 0-60 times then. The auto has a gearing advantage and 456s in the longer geared manual would help make performance much closer between the two. A gt350 needs a manual because it's a roll race car and twisties car not a good launching car.

This is EXACTLY why I love a MANual trans and HATE autos for anything performance oriented. Autos are fine for a daily but racing and performance, MANuals should be it. Now, Millenials are gonna say "an AUTO is faster". Not necessarily around a roadcourse (Randy Ppbst turned a faster lap in a manual Camaro than the Auto). Drag racing...I'd rather see a slower time in a MANual that watch a bunch of cars the person inside (not a driver more of a steerer) just has to mash the gas and steer a little. Look at this video and how much practice just goes into launching. That's awesome, that's learning and developing a skill, and on track THAT IS Racing...a competition of not only the performance of the machine but the SKILL of the DRIVER.

They laugh until they do it, then they thank me lol. My one and only car is my 17 ProCharged GT PP...I'm with you...the experience of driving the car with a manual and hitting that downshift perfectly (and NO, I dont like rev matching systems, can we please stop looking to the car to do everything for us!!) or just banging through the gears and hitting everything just right is awesome.

@@beatsByZlaja this is true but people need to consider this before saying "auto is faster derp derp!!". Not necessarily especially in the twisties a well driven manual can absolutely be quicker which the other guy just told us. And in a drag race if you got traction and the driver mod a stick car can be fast with a good driver not far at all behind a modern auto. I always say yea if you can't drive auto is alot faster if you can drive the difference is negligible and in the twisties the manual can actually be an advantage in the right hands. It's so much more satisfying than punching the gas and holding the wheel.

I think the GT350R is the best looking, best handling and best sounding car for the price. I was one signature away from buying one but I backed out after I test drove it. The car feels slow on the low rpm’s because of the lack of torque! Sure it will be great on the track but Ford should have made it more balanced across the rpm band! Anyway this car is truly amazing and I am still thinking of buying one and installing a supercharger on it. It’s just sad that Ford didn’t make it faster in lower rpms. My modified 500 hp sti which I sold to buy this car was running 3.3 seconds 0-60!

A man after my own heart. I had a 2017 STI and I had a first round of mods on it (Tune, CAI, downpipe, fuel pump) at 300whp. I was considering the next round of mods but I knew I had to build the engine (to avoid ringland failure, etc.) and it was going to be around $16K (bigger turbo, TMIC, injectors, etc.). Then my friend said "Just get a Mustang and supercharge it." And the rest is history. Long story short, my GT blew up and now I'm in a GT350. And I am also disappointed in the torque. But I've had her on track twice and the car is literally physics defying. Never felt anything like it. I'm probably going the turbo route. Especially since I have the new stronger engine (Just got the engine replaced.). Hope you stick around. We got big things coming (God willing!).

If you want big torque down low this ain't the car for you. A switch to 456 gears makes a huge difference on these cars it's as simple as that. Even the 373 are really long with the Trans gearing. I'm not sure what some of yall expect. It has insane top end hp which is what you want. Who cares if torque is lower at low rpm if you want it to pull better there do 456s alot of other guys do. It's an all motor 5.2 liter flat plane crank v8 with 8250 rpm redline of course torque isn't gonna be huge down low like with a turbo engine or a 6+ liter pushrod engine that doesn't hold a candle to the gt350 above 6000 rpm.

A grandma could jump in that car and get a good 0-60 time doing it in a rwd manual high revving v8 is much more difficult especially on the street on street tires. So that cars good 0-60 has little to so with that 2.5 liter and more to do with the turbo and awd.

I have been on You Tube and have seen quite a few Engine failures regarding the 5.0 engine and the Flat Plane crank engine in the Mustang & Shelby 350 ? I have through You Tube seen how Ford Motor Corp. treats their customers ? I worked for a Ford Dealer in South Carolina, the experience was not good. I had plans to buy a Ford GT Mustang in 2018 or 2019 given what I have seen I am now (not) going to consider a Mustang. I find this extremely upsetting, I alway thought Ford built a good product and represented their product well. Maybe I was wrong. If a Ford Representative would like to contact me on all of the issues I have experienced please do so.

I'm about to release my video closing my experience with RAV. After two full months of dealing with their incompetence. Ford has redeemed themselves and the GT350 is solid so far (God willing it stays that way.) but RAV... I am displeased...

Hands down the GT350 is a monster for sure, just like the helcat. IM SURE ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT IT WILL PICK UP BETTER TIMES. the coyote car guy has the same issues with wheels spinning. My 16 gt with the 6r80 auto with 355s gears spins a lot too!!!! Nevertheless my darth Vader ss is QUICK & HOOKS UP like a bat out of hell lol. I WANNA DRIVE YOUR GT 350 😝 well at least this time doing launches you didn’t have to call ford road side and had car towed lol. Good job 👍 keep at it!!!!! Love the f*cken SOUNDS OF THAT CAR 😀

I can easily beat his numbers in my tank Charger right now but I have absolutely no doubt that he would eat me alive at a roll, at any speed. He has way too many RPMs to use!

0-60 is a traction based Stat dude. Why are people so fixated on 0-60 a traction based Stat on the street where there's no traction. Auto and especially auto awd cars have a huge advantage in this Stat. What 08 vette has 3.xxx 0-60 times? Sure as hell ain't a base vette maybe the z? It has a 7 liter 500 hp pushrod v8 in it and it weighs 3200 lbs soaking wet. It's a much more optimal car to pull 0-60 times than a high revving flat plane rwd v8 with gearing that sucks for launching on the street with street tires. I don't get this obsession with a traction based Stat in a place where there's no traction lol. Measure 60-130 times that separates the men from the boys and the awd cars can't hide behind their launching advantage.

  • @midnight347

    Жыл бұрын

It's not slower than an ecoboost you're comparing first time out traction limited 0-60 times to the perfect conditions and professional driver numbers for the eb. 0-60 is mostly about launch and traction not that much about power. Gearing also is a big factor the gt350 has a long ass first gear. It is not an ideal 0-60 car and is much more difficult to get optimal times from than an eb as well. I don't understand this obsession with 0-60 who gives a shit about a traction based Stat on the street where there's no traction lol smh

@@DucatiDiaries I am both Agnostic and Atheist. Everyone is Agnostic, Agnostic Theist or Agnostic Atheist. No one knows if there is or isn't a god, you either choose to believe there is or isn't whilst still never knowing, which is why it's called a "belief" in god, because they are Agnostic Theist. The burden of proof is always on the religious as they are the one's in favor of an extraordinary claim. The Agnostic Atheist just doubts the claim is plausible. In short I am Agnostic Atheist. Due to the nature of the claim of god being "supernatural" nothing could convince me otherwise from within this place we call reality, the natural. No words another human like me can put together would ever be convincing proof.

Hi Kara. Fair enough. But I'm not agnostic. I know there is a God because of my many testaments and the many times He's helped me in such a clear way to be unmistakable for mere coincidence or synchronicity. And not to mention the frequency of His divine assistance in my life. If you're an agnostic and you don't 'know' whether there is a God or not, why attack the faithful? Why even bother caring? To answer your question of what created God. Here's a cool link that explains it logically (scroll down a bit to the logical overview): www.christiancourier.com/articles/673-who-made-god Hope to keep up the dialogue with you.

@@DucatiDiaries How did I attack the faithful in my comments? Am I not allowed to speak my mind when I hear someone talk about "god", they can but I cannot? Why care? Because people, politicians especially make decisions in real life that are biased or chosen because of their belief that affect everyone else's lives for one. If you "know" there is a god then you are not religious or faithful, it's no longer a "belief" if you claim to know for sure.
